  1. I fell off the wagon in the middle of last challenge. Honestly I'm not sure I was on the wagon to begin with, but I digress. TENTATIVE WEEKLY SCHEDULE: Monday - work 8h Tuesday - classes maybe, evening church group Wednesday - work 8h split Thursday - moar classes maybe, evening church group Friday - work 4h, maybe class Saturday - ???, church in evening (online ofc) Sunday - ??? probably housecleaning tbh TO-DO: Cooking Lunch duty M Dinner duty TWRF probably (dinner by 5 or 5:30 because that's when Mom gets off) Weekends are always up in the air Regain my gainzzz 100 Knee Pushups Challenge Split lunges and goblet squats (10 lb unless I can come up with something heavier. No, my cat doesn't count.) Schooling Send in those forms so I can sign up for the stupid classes on May 7 Read Dune. Finish before Mom finishes Anne of Green Gables Pick up the alto clarinet at least 1x/wk for 40+ minutes (assembly and maintenance times not included) Bonus points for breathing exercises Bonus points for playing anything in boat pose. Don't waste all my free time on Animal Crossing. (Wild World - don't ask for my friend code.) 1 hour of gameplay per day, max. Spend some time outside in the sun! If I think of anything else I'll add it. Have a spreadsheet.
  2. This challenge is about planning and crossing off items on my to-do list. Challenge To-Do List Get off the damn phone! Build the Wall. It'll be a glorious wall with no monkey shit on it at all. Everyone will want a wall just like mine. The monkeys, they'll pay for the whole thing. Those voices in my head that day this'll never work, they're just afraid, they're ruled by fear, so they spread fake news. We don't want fake news, that's what the monkeys want, that's what the monkeys bring. Now the monkeys, they're good monkeys, very hard working, I love the monkeys and they love me. But we don't need the fake news they all bring, so we're building the wall. Grow my Forest. Read a book for leisure Read another book for leisure! Adulting Tithe File taxes Launder all the things (we have a flea infestation 😫) Finish the closet and actually get rid of some things. Get thicc Gym (Thicc Thursdays) and home bodyweight routine 3x /wk. Biking (weather and mother dependent) Catch up on Bible reading plan FUTURE. FUUUUUTUUURREEEE!!!! Ace thermodynamics Meeting with advisor for biomedical engineering program Build CV and submit to advisor in preparation for applying to BS-to-MSBME program. Find and attach syllabi for advanced math classes. Meet with program coordinator and potential graduate advisor
  3. I guess I'm here. Howdy. Goals: * Home cooking 2x/day. This is to curb my eating out. I love Chick-fil-a and it's great for when I'm running late into work, but let's face it, it isn't that healthy. * Bike at least twice. Preferably the trail with my mom because then I can get some good mileage in (we did 11 just before New Year). * Lift heavy things. Even if that heavy thing is just me. Every other day minimum. Anything counts if I do 5+ reps of it. * Finish a book for once. I'd like to get in one chapter a day. This is actually doable now that I'm probably only working this semester (my university where I just transferred apparently lost my transcripts from when I applied so that's nice 😑). * Less negativity. Okay this one is very subjective but I've had this niggling feeling lately that I spew negativity. Some of it comes from my home life (my grandmother is a very negative person and my mom unloads on me a lot about her). A co-worker recently told me that I like to complain... and she's not wrong. I unload on my best friend all the time on Facebook and I hate it every time I do it. I'm not aiming to be a ray of sunshine, just more conscious of my attitude. Less cynicism. More constructive outlets. That sort of thing.
