Hi fellow rebels! Starting this August, after a month of constant swimming, I’ll start with the Beginner body weight workout! My main goal is to gain muscle and get toned. I’m 6’2†and 165lb weight so I hope it won’t be much trouble. While I was in the gym I talked to various members and asked them what would be more beneficial for me to gain muscle mass. They were divided between either protein powder or a mass gainer. I understand that the shakes are no miracle workers and that they are no substitutes for a good meal. I’m sticking to their original intent, to be supplements. Still for this skinny guy any help is welcomed. So which of the two should I buy? If I buy the protein powder I will most likely buy:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QSNYGI/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000QSNYGI&linkCode=as2&tag=nerdfitn-20 With the Mass gainer it would be:http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/serious-mass-p-241.html Thanks in advance for all the advice!

Any good ideas for tasty "potions"? I have been thinking of this for a long time, but I have the problem that I don't know any recipies for shakes or "potions". I also need some of those tiny round bottles that they use in all the rpgs. any suggestion on where to get them?

Does anyone have the link to the recipe for Steve's Big Ass Paleo Shake? The link from the Strength Training Guide doesn't work. Thanks!

Ok.. so I was just wanting something.. umm... something, but I couldn't put my finger on it. So I thought.. a shake!! Pulled out my blender and started throwing stuff in it. When I tasted this shake it was like my brain and body were like, "THANK YOU!! This is exactly what we wanted!!! So here is 1 serving: 1 cup blueberries 2 tbsp baking cocoa (unsweetened powder stuff) 1 cup ice cubes 1 tbsp honey 1/2 cup milk (I used organic whole milk, but you could probably use almond or coconut) Drink! It is not mighty mighty sweet, but I think the cocoa really adds to the fullness of flavor (which removes the need for sooo much sweet).
