First Challenge! I'm a hardcore Whovian, so I'm bringing out my inner companion for this one. When The Doctor comes to take me on an adventure, I need to be prepared to run! So.... Main Quest: Complete the Couch to 5K app! Goal: Go to my apartment complex's gym 4 times a week. (Edit: Do C25K 4 times a week.) Goal: Eat a healthy lunch at work instead of macaroni and cheese all the time. (Edit: Eat 4 healthy meals/snacks a day. Limit pasta and bread! No bored eating!) Goal: Quit smoking by the end of the 6 week challenge. Life Quest: Finish my "Will You Be My Bridesmaid" DIY project that I've been putting off for far too long. Motivation: I want to be healthy so that I don't end up in and out of the hospital and 500+ pounds like my father. I want to be able to live a long, happy, healthy life with my man, Colby, and our future children. At this rate, I'm probably subtracting 20 years from my life span. That's unacceptable. I'm getting my entire household into this too, since Colby and I hope to get married in December this year and we all want to look our best for the photos. Plus.. I want to look DAMN GOOD in my wedding dress when the times comes! ^.^ Grading Scale: Main Quest: A - Completed 6 weeks of 8 B - Completed 5 weeks of 8 C - Completed 4 weeks of 8 D - Completed 3 weeks of 8 F - Completed 2 weeks or less of 8 Goal 1: A - 3+ times a week B - 3 times a week C - 2 times a week D - 1 time a week F - 0 times a week Goal 2: A - Ate 4 healthy meals B - Ate 3 healthy meals C - Ate 2 healthy meals D - Ate 1 healthy meal F - Ate 0 healthy meals (Drop letter grade if ate more than 5 times.) Goal 3: A - Quit smoking in 2 weeks or less B - Quit smoking in 3 weeks C - Quit smoking in 4 weeks D - Quit smoking in 5 or more weeks F - Did not quit smoking Current Stats: Height: 5'8 inches Weight: 240 pounds Additional Information: I plan to keep track of meals, weight loss, grocery lists, workout plans, and more in this forum. If anyone is interested in my progress, feel free to follow. (: I'm picture crazy too, so expect lots of food, progress, motivation, and random nerdy pictures.
