  1. It's hard to believe it's 2015 - mostly because it feels like it was just 2013, when I was starting my first challenge. I was pumped at that time. Motivated, confident, and then disaster struck. Sickness...injury... lots of pain and blood. When my doctor finally cleared me for exercise (Jan. or Feb. 2014), all that motivation had drained away. But I'm back and ready for action once more! No better way to kick off the year, right? Let's do this, chums! Main Quest: Lose 40 pounds by little sis's graduation (May 28). Quest 1: Work out for 1 hour Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Walk for 20 minutes on off days. Measurement: A - 1 hour, 18 days; B - 1 hour, 12 days; C - 1 hour, 7 days or fewerQuest 2: Only eat out once per week (allowing for weekly game night). Cook everything else. "Eating out" includes frozen dinners & pizza. Measurement: A - 6 or less; B - 12; C - 12+Quest 3: Kick soda. Again. Measurement: A - no soda or fizzy waters; B - 6-12 sodas; C - 12+Life Quest: Keep up with my &@#* blog. 3 posts per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). Motivation: I want my health to be stable. I want to be able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. I want to order what I want at a restaurant without an overwhelming sense of guilt. I want to attend my sister's graduation not worried about being labelled "The Fat Sister" (it's happened). I'm ready to go! Glad to be back in the rebellion.
