Hello nerds! Sea Level here, and I've been absent for a while, but can't stay away from the Rebellion. Some old timers may know that I'm a big swing dancer. I've done bodyweight work regularly, taken on some hand balancing, learned swing dance routines, and all that jazz. I'm back again to attempt another challenge. I've been very disappointed in my performance in past challenges. I can't remember the last time I actually finished a challenge. I'm one of those happy statistics: the drop-outs! And I hate it. I don't want to be "that guy" anymore: that guy who drops out every single challenge. That guy who can't get past two weeks. That guy who stops posting and disappears. It's not the rebel way. "My only regret....is that I have boneitis...and that I can't finish a challenge!" But enough negativity. I just moved to a new job, new town, new home. I don't live at Sea Level any more. Maybe I should change my name. But now that I've got a lot of life changes, I want to get back to old routines. "You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep." 1. Don't look back. Get back on the horse. Press on. Bodyweight workout 3x weekly. Push-ups. Chin-ups. Squats. 2. Walk to work 2x weekly. I live only 1.5 miles from work, which is sweet. I want to walk to work as much as possible. I plan to walk at least 2x a week. 3. Cook a healthy meal 2x weekly. My new job has me living in a town instead in the middle-of-nowhere desert. There are restaurants and fast food opportunities everywhere! It can be dangerous. I will cook a healthy meal at home at least 2x weekly. "Healthy" means meats and vegetables primarily. Maybe not fully paleo. Maybe I'll have rice. Maybe there'll be cheese. But meat and vegetables will be predominant. 4. (Life) Put in an appearance here at least 2x weekly. I just drop off the boards every challenge. I think I need to join some Accountabilibuddies. That might help. I'll flesh this out some more once I get home from work. I look forward to working out with the Assassins again.
