  1. Push myself. Notes & Observations Journaling. Stop waiting for the perfect notebook to do it. You have more than enough sexy leather bound ones to start. Cardio. How the hell do you expect to keep up this "crime-fighting" ordeal if you can't keep up one night a week? The heart and lungs are just as important as your biceps and traps. Mobility. This one is puzzling. You always feel so good after a Smooth Panther routine...why not do them more often? Fuel. 5x a day is doable. I've already started and it amazes me how quick my body adapts and fast my metabolism gets going. I've become a great white shark... Strength. No excuses for Tues/Thurs. I have a good DB set + KB's + weighted vest/pull-up bar. I can get a good workout in before I leave for work. No need to go to the gym. I have my own "Batcave". Wolf
  2. “Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching. 2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows. I wish I could say I'm making a difference, but I don't know. Murder, robberies, assault- 2 years later, they're all up. And now this. This city's eating itself. Maybe it can't be saved, but I have to try. PUSH MYSELF. These nights all roll together in a rush behind the mask. Sometimes in the morning I have to force myself to remember everything that happened.” The Batcave · Go to the gym 4x a week · The Focus: Speed and Power i.e Compound Lifts, Olympic lifts, KB’s, calisthenics The Batmobile · Cardio 2x a week & Mobility Daily · The Focus: Running, Walking with Heather, Swimming or Metcons (using KB’s), #SmoothPanther The Utility Belt · Daily Vitamins and Veggies · The Focus: Leafy greens, complex carbs, D3, fish oil, zinc, vitamin C The Cowl · Daily meditation, journaling and putting an emphasis on SLEEP · The Focus: 5min minimum for meditation and micro-naps are encouraged Wolf
  3. Fear is a tool. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call. It's a warning. For them. I realize we are nearing the end of this challenge but I thought, "what better time to get a prelude challenge in before the next one starts". My logic is sound... Goals Gym 4x a week 3x a week lifting 1x a week running or swimming BONUS DAY: Heavy Bag work on Thursdays DON'T FORGET WARM-UPS AND COOLDOWNS! YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER! Yoga 3x a week Don't skip this. You're better off with yoga then without it. #Facts Balanced Diet Veggies with dinner EVERY DAY 100+oz of water EVERY DAY TBD I don't want to make a huge deal about "BEING BACK" but I'm excited about it, nonetheless. Long time NF veteran and Ranger here . I'm no stranger to the challenges so let me give you a quick recap since I've been on here last: I'm still working 2 jobs: Mortgage job (PennyMac) during the day and Costco in the evening. I just recently this week had to start going back in the office 2x a week: Thursday & Friday. These aren't the most ideal days to go but it works with my days off from Costco, which is Fri/Sat. To put it into perspective, a day where I go into the office AND Costco is basically a 15-hour work day including commute because I go from one job to the next. It's rough. However, due to my schedule, I only have to go into the office AND Costco 1x a week. This is amazing! My wife, the infamous Heather aka PrincessMononoke, is currently almost 19 weeks pregnant too! If you know my history with pregnancies you know this is a HUGE deal for Heather and I. We're very excited and praying and hoping to see this baby at the end of July. Due to high risk factors and the fact Heather is now dealing with blood clots/blood thinners, we have a scheduled C-section July 25th. The blood clot thing is new. We found out in mid-January that Heather had a small clot on her lung...which was extremely scary. and was in the hospital for 2 days. She has to have 2x a day shots given to her; once in the morning and once in the evening, usually spread out in 12-hr increments. Either way, that's what we're dealing with. Fun, right? Since I've been on here last, I had my wisdom teeth removed before my 34th birthday in November. A week and a half later Heather and I got Covid over Thanksgiving. November is usually one of my favorite months...not this time! I ended up losing about 15 total pounds because of all that bullshit and have been trying to put back on weight ever since. I was sitting around 188-190lbs before all the November woes and got as low as 171lbs after Covid. I'm now sitting around 178lbs. Other than that, the Wolfpack™ is doing great. My 11 and 7 yr olds are deeeeeeeeep into basketball right now. They have Nationals coming up next week in Missouri...I'm sad I can't go. It's been a real treat to see them play basketball because if I'm being honest, basketball was my 1st love lol. My 11 year old is pretty good . He's fast and can play solid defense. Now, my 7 year old...that kid is an absolute baller. I'm talking like, "full college scholarship ride" kind of baller if he decides to pursue that path. #LovebeingaDad There's probably a lot that I'm missing because it's been like 6 months since I posted last lol but that's a solid start. Let's get crackin! Wolf
