  1. The Almighty Spreadsheet of Exercise Mayhem This CLOSED Squad vs. Squad Challenge is between the Not-So-Newbie Rangers and the Also-Not-So-Newbie Rangers. This is a Ranger competition that will primarily test the squads on cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and muscular endurance. This competition will use a point system. The Squad with the most points at the end of the challenge wins a Nerd Fitness t-shirt (valued at $19.99 +s&h) as shown on the PRIZE tab.** The SUMMARY tab lists the members on each squad, tallies each member's total, and shows the total score for each squad. These totals are based on the entries made in the Log tabs. The logs are listed by exercise type. The CARDIO LOG is for cardiovascular exercises (e.g. running, swimming, biking, etc.). Cardio exercise is measured in time spent doing the exercise. 1 point is awarded for every 6 seconds of cardio logged. Low intensity exercise such as walking must be logged as half-time. The BODYWEIGHT LOG is for bodyweight exercises (pushups, pull ups, air squats, planks, etc.). Bodyweight exercises are measured in repetitions or in time, depending on the exercise. 1 point is awarded for either each repetition or every 4 seconds held in the exercise. The WEIGHTLIFTING LOG is for (you guessed it) weightlifting exercises (The Big Three, the Olympic Lifts, and anything else that involves moving something heavy). Weightlifting is measured using a calculation based on the amount of weight lifted, the number of times it was lifted, and the lifter's bodyweight [Points = (Weight lifted x Repetitions) / (Lifter's bodyweight x .25)].
