  1. May the Fourth be with you all on this fine Spring day! After hanging out in the Druid Cabin, I decided it was time to come hang out with you guys for a challenge, if you’ll have me 🙂 (A brief introduction can be found here. Nice to meet you!) Given my current state of mind, I really need to keep taking the time to “go back to center” and spend some more time in Warrior & balancing poses. My hands, shoulders and hips also need some tender care due to all the time I’ll be spending working on my thesis. Also, I’ll be keeping in mind how much taking the time to brew some tea and drink it adds pazazz to my life 🙂 I have a big supply I’d like to at least halve. There are tons more things I would like, such as drinking enough water, moving a bit every hour, eating right etc. However, I’ll keep my challenge goals agressively simple, as suggested by @KBgirl and @Manarelle. First, I have to RUN away as far as I can from the Doldrums. Because time is a gift 🙂 And we can’t let the Terrible Trivium tempt us with his menial tasks! It could be that my neighbours are regularly taking prescriptions from Dr. Kakofonous, but I have adapted and have a plan to find focus despite his best efforts to cure the world from pleasant sounds. As far as I can tell, Rhyme and Reason are safe and sound (for the time being). However, I plan to make King Azaz very proud by (1) conquering Thesis Mountain, and (2) having some fun with "language things" (not part of the challenge). My challenge concept is as follows: Each week I can earn 7 points for doing my pushups, 5 points for doing all of my weekly flexibility routines and 3 points for sticking with None2Run. That means there’s one day I will have to juggle both the flexibility routine and N2R (5+3=8, only 7 days a week), so I’ll have to check which flexy routine was simpler/shorter. Moreover, I’m going to keep reminding myself to breathe and flow as much a possible. Am I thinking thoughts that are building me up, am I doing things that give me life? *At the end of the challenge*: measure flex benchmarks (6 June) That’s all. All I’m going to worry about. If I do it right, and be mindful of movement, these will be meditative as they are. All the other things mentioned, and the "language things" I won't worry about too much. My logging will happen on paper, but I tend to use my challenge threads to "think out loud" so I'll probably not pass a chance to brag if I "did the things" Let's do this!
