  1. I had an interesting conversation today with someone who seems to exist on the opposite end of the 'training/appetite' spectrum to me. Whenever I phase into a program involving heavy weights in a low rep range, I need to up my food intake to have the energy to put my body through that stress- if I don't, then I simply don't make progress. My good friend, on the other hand, finds that when he starts to train heavy, he naturally gets a lot hungrier- an idea that seems pretty alien to me. It was an interesting concept and it didn't really go much further than that, but now I think about it, I'm curious to see where the majority lie on the food/training continuum. Do you need to consciously eat more to lift more like me? Or does heavy lifting boost your appetite as it does my friend?
