  1. Hi I've been on a weight loss journey. Down 70lbs in 2 years doing keto and little to no exercise. I started going to the gym in April to help speed up my process. I do light cardio and lots of weightlifting. I love it. My question is, since I've been going to the gym and eating keto I've been feeling really weak and very hangry. The scale isn't moving much even though I'm still eating the same as foods and amounts as before. Is this scale stuck due to gaining muscle? Or do I need to introduce carbs? Is it really just about being a calorie deficit or am I missing something? I still want to lose another 70lbs. Thanks.
  2. TL;DR: I explain my details, what i've previously done to workout and what I need to know about working out. Basically everything down to the name of the machines I should use. Hello friends, I am a 6'4, 350 odd pound 17 year old, who recently got a gym membership. I have absolutely no idea what I should do to start off. I know the basics, cutting off sugars, drinking water, etc. However I think I might have a pseudo sugar addiction. Would fruits that have sugar in them help with that? Like apples? Either way, I'm pretty sure i'm motivated enough to stick with the diet routine, working my way into it slowly as I type this. I went to the gym the first time last night but I just kinda got a feel for the place. Used the bike machines on 15 resistance for about thirty minutes, the machine said I went about three miles. I was pretty proud with how consistent I was. I went on the treadmill for around twenty minutes at 2mph, again just feeling around. However I'm not sure the exercises I should do to actually get a lower weight. I don't really have a goal other than not be 300ibs anymore. I'd like to think i'm not in the worst of shape, and since I am decently tall a lot of people are suprised when I tell them i'm over three hundred pounds. However I can never know if they're just saying that to make me feel better. Getting out of my dating profile, from what I tried last night, I have no idea what the names of the machines are. I think it's a leg press? Either way, it's the one you push up with your legs. I was able to do about 250~ easily. I can't really remember, but my legs have always been strong-ish as i've been obese since I was about five. I don't know what else I could really put in here since I'm new to the scene. I've also been trail biking every other week for about two months now. The farthest i've went is about five miles, the average is about three as the trails we go on close at dark and the mode of transport that I go with usually gets off at about one. I hope that's enough for you to know what i'm asking for. A TL;DR at the beginning will probably help that.
