  1. Since the new World of Warcraft expansion just released, I can't help but make this challenge centered on Azeroth and the new content: befriending dragons and improved crafting professions. After the past couple of years, I'm ready to play WoW on a cozy setting rather than the grim, afterlife theme that caused my family to put gaming together on hold for a year. Details?? Vague!! I haven't even purchased the expansion yet. In general, I'm taking this challenge as a period of reflection and preparation for next year. I'll be relearning the game while I review the year. It was a successful year. I might not hit all of my targets, but I made a lot of progress. I might gradually set goals for each week and reassess. Week 0 Goals: Buy the expansion Clean out stuff I'm not using and organize (both in game and IRL)
  2. I am Arcelas! I used to spam /yell this in WoW after every kill or successful herb gather. Now I plan to yell it while cars and guys in wheelchairs go whizzing by as I go for my daily walks. When the Taco Bell beckons like a dude outside a nudie bar in Vegas, I will resist the temptation. So welcome to the Starting Zone of my journey to get to level 60. (There is no level 110 lol) Main Quest: Lose 50lbs! 12/10/17 Starting weight 293 lbs Go from drinking a 2 liter every other day to only drinking one 12oz soda on Thursday with my Dad for Movie Night (currently, have been soda free for 10 days) Add vegetables to 4 breakfast meals a week (starting at 1 per week then working my way up to 4 by the end of the challenge) Walk at least 4 days a week for at least 10 minutes Break down the beginner bodyweight workout into manageable amounts reduce sets on first several workouts, with the goal being to complete a full workout by the end of the challenge. 1 set of each the 1st week (alternating workouts) increase that number as I grow stronger, culminating in complete workouts performed during week 4 (week 3 if I'm feeling up to it) This should prepare me for the new year. Yay 2018, the year we all turn into murlocs!
  3. So far this challenge is going much better than the last one. I've managed to make not drinking my default for the last few weeks. Also - I and Mr. Nyx have gotten serious about getting our home in order. So that is taking more of a priority. I will be 31 on the 22nd - so this is perfect timing to get myself into a good place before the New Year and my new year begins. Sobriety: Drink 1 day a week - not to drunkenness Do not drink calorie bombs ? Home: Put clothes in front closet Take down giveaways Pack/organize yarn Magick Personal Keys to Perception Spirit Communication Lifting the Veil ? ? Write out Coven Charter Study Group The Norse Tools Workshop Yule Health Gym 2 days a week - regardless - whichever, but 2 at least Continue to drink only water and 1 coffee a day at work (I work at the Bux) Continue to incorporate more home cooked/less processed meals Continue tea/sleeping schedule Continue lack of noise during sleep More to be added as I think of them/create habit loops/accomplish tasks. Goal is to be out of Deathknell and on to Tarren Mill by Dec 23rd!
  4. Hiya, You can call me Squishyy. I started NFA a few months back but have never been active on the forums, only the FB group. I keep having to respawn because my heart just isn't in it. My PC has been on the fritz but now it's fixed so I spend a lot of my time in front of my desktop so I thought that getting more active in the forums would be a good way to spend my time. I play WoW on EU servers, as I'm from Northern Ireland. I play on Argent Dawn which is the most populated RP server in the EU. If you're on there maybe we can be friends? I don't have many friends online as I like to chill on my own in-game but I wouldn't mind making a few friends. It's an RP server and although I've never really developed that much I really want to get into it! In terms of NFA goals I want to start weigh training but it's been a super long process for me as I am extremely sedentary and battling a lot of self-sabotaging feelings. I am currently working part-time and I am a full time student going into my final year which means dissertation! I have a lot on my plate but I guess I want to reach my goals in time for graduating next July! I'm going to spend more time looking at resources online and on the forums to help me with my journey day to day. ~Squishyy
  5. I haven't passed a challenge in a long time. Like since my original account two years ago I went back and looked at what I did then, to see what the difference was, and I only noticed two differences. 1) Successful challenges weren't splitting my energy multiple ways. EVERY goal on the challenge had something to do with losing weight, and they worked together really well. So as much as I liked my 'adulting/self care' goal from last time, I'm going to ditch it in favor of the tried and true cardio/strength/diet recipe. 2) I had a lot of interactions with my support network. I was a member of a group of like 8 or so newbies (The Pirate Lasses or something) who had a roleplaying group going. So we had this separate thread going where we were roleplaying this fun pirate adventure together, which meant that I was on the forums posting sometimes multiple times a day. And since everybody was already on for the pirate adventure, we'd all support each other on our challenges too. But I don't think it was the support that made the difference, (though of course it helped) because I've still got support now. I think it was the fact that I was constantly on the forums because of the roleplay, keeping my challenge and my goals at the forefront of my mind while also forcing me to be accountable - can't really get away with fading away on the challenge if you're still pirating. I tried to rally interest for a NF D&D group, since that would be very similar, but nobody was really into it... & I know I can't just be like, oh, well I'll just have to get on the forums a lot, because I've tried that, and after a week or so lose interest in scouring the boards. So... I'm at a bit of a loss... I've got a Life Quest idea that might hopefully maybe help with the accountability/constant reminder thing... but idk. Maybe I ought to look for a weight loss meetup or join a weight watchers group, so that I'll have to physically show up to something? Idk. If you have ideas, PLEASE SHARE. Anywho, I like having an excuse to post gifs and pictures of things that I like, SO. Theme is World of Warcraft, because let's admit it, it should've been WoW a long time ago xD Main Quest - Lose 6 pounds. I figure, 'they' say you should be able to healthily lose up to 2 pounds/week, and 1 pound/week is supposed to be low-key, so I'd like to aim for 1.5/week. I really gotta drop what I gained over the holidays... I've never been this fat before, literally ever. Goals 1. Swim like a Naga - Swim 3x a week. 2. Strong as an Orc - Strength workouts 2x a week. 3. Eat like an Elf - Eat 1500-1600 kcal of home cooked food every day. Life Quest Insta-famous - Post something diet/weight loss/exercise/health related daily to my secondary Instagram account. @ljaybirdfly (lame name, I know, but all combos of my username and fit were already taken... and I figured, I like aerials, so... w/e) Please follow me so I feel like I've got people holding me accountable. Measurements Height: 5'9" Weight: 210 lbs T-T Waist: 34.5" Hips: 46.5" Thigh: 29" Grading Each goal will be graded weekly & be worth 30% of that week's total grade. Life Points are no longer extra credit as that provided little incentive for me to actually DO said Life Quest. Instead, the Life Quest will also be graded, worth 10% of the week's total grade. My final grade will be the average of all four weeks. I need to make at least a B (80%) to pass the challenge. Swim like a Naga - scored as a percentage of completed swims (side note, I'm super irritated I couldn't find a decent gif or even picture of a naga swimming. They're water creatures, stop having pictures of them out of the water or just chilling on the ocean floor. *rage* oh well, you get the gist) Strong as an Orc - Scored as a percentage of completed workouts. Eat like an Elf - 14 points total. 1/day for meeting calories. 1/day for the food all being home cooked. I liked my point loss system from last time, so I'm keeping it with an adjustment: every 200 kcal over limit is -1 points and every not home-made meal/snack is -1 points. So I can't forget lunch, have to buy from the cafeteria, then get home and be like OH WELL MAY AS WELL ORDER. Also, I can't overeat and be like OH WELL, MAY AS WELL STUFF MY FACE. Insta-Famous- 7 points total. 1/day. (oh yeah, that's right. For those not in the know, you can totally take selfies in WoW xD No, I will not count any WoW selfies towards this goal, haha) Exceptions - If I get REALLY sick, I can be exempt. But I have to be SUPER DUPER sick. So sick that I can't even walk for 15 minutes or do a little bit of cooking. I seriously doubt I'll get that sick. *knocks on wood* Motivation I WANT THOSE DAMN SYLVANAS LEGGINGS. OMG. GIVE THEM TO ME. T-T Also, Bangarang just released a new set called Dragonskin and I want ALL OF THEM. So if I get an A and/or lose more than 6 pounds, I can have one of them. I kinda want Deathwing (black) or maybe Alexstrasza (red). Or all Malygos(blue). Or Ysera(green). Or Nozdormu(yellow). I WANT THEM ALL. Tracker Swim like a Naga Strong as an Orc Eat like an Elf Insta Total Week 1: 0% 0% 0/14 0/7 0% Week 2: 0% 0% 0/14 0/7 0% Week 3: 0% 0% 0/14 0/7 0% Week 4: 0% 0% 0/14 0/7 0%
  6. Hearthstone Players, Unite! Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a digital collectable card game made by Blizzard that is set in the Warcraft Universe. So, naturally, tons of nerds play it. 7. With Blackfathom Deeps cleansed behind her, Shatyr set off for her next adventure. Word had reached her that Huntress Jalin at Stardust Spire needed help dealing with some Horde in Stonetalon Mountains. Compared to Ashenvale, the view was a little more... beige. ~~~/|\~~~ My goals haven't changed really. I need to be stronger, more focused, and build a better Batcave. Assassin's den. Apartment. Whichever. Primary Goals: 1. Grow stronger Workout three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Starting numbers: Knee Push Up 3x6 Assisted Pull Up 3x6 Wall Squat 3x6 Static Lunge 3x6 Knee Plank 30 sec 2. Discipline the mind Evening meditation, 24 nights Meditate 5 minutes each night before bed 3. Empty the packs Remove 1 box worth of Stuff, either to trash or to charity. Secondary Professions: Cooking: 2 new recipes Honey Glazed Salmon Stuffed Mushrooms Bonus: Scalloped potatoes Enchanting (cello): Practice 30 minutes, three days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) 11 sessions total (since these things end on Fridays now) Bonus: The Irish Cello book Tailoring: Complete Birth Announcement #1 Organize design process Bonus: The Last Tapestry design phase one ~~~/|\~~~ I didn't reach most of my goals last challenge, but I did get closer to where I want to be. The entire point is to reach the end goal, so any improvement is a win.
  8. I’m starting to look at fitness from a Warcraft perspective. Ultimately, the goal is raid progression (for me, anyway). You want to beat the newest content and be ready for the next patch. In order to be successful, you need to understand the mechanics behind your class – and how to utilize those mechanics. This is me – er, well the WoW version of me. Phedre. Baller Frost Mage who achievement hunts like there’s no tomorrow. If I weren’t a progression raider, I’d probably be in a guild that solely focuses on achievements (and yes – that is really my guild name. Pirate Hookahs xD) Starting quests to get into the end game content are usually simple. Things like establishing who you’re ultimately going in there to take down – and who’s your point of contact. Opening up the zone is easy – defeating it is another story. Now, let’s buff up and zone in! - What are mages famous (infamous) for? WATER. I’m making solid progress on the nutritional front, so let’s add to that. This challenge I’m setting a water intake goal: Ultimately I’m trying to achieve 72oz of water a day. It sounds like a lot! But, when you factor my Starbucks cup I keep at work holds 24 ounces, that’s three cups. That’s nothing. But this sets a good foundation for the next part of my quest chain. - Just like in real life and the ultimate quest for fitness and health – what you eat matters in Warcraft! Foods can provide stat buffs and it’s a no brainer. Better quality foods = better buffs = better raid results. Raiding happens only a few nights a week – so plan accordingly! Make sure you’re prepared to go into that battle with the right buff. I’m moving toward a paleo friendly diet. I felt much better when I was following a quasi-Paleo lifestyle (but keeping in dairy, because I don’t have adverse reactions to dairy). Full conversion seems a bit too daunting right now, so aim for 2 days a week (this is breakfast/lunch/dinner/plus any snacks). For this challenge, I’m making it a goal to eat clean with 2 full meals per week that are Paleo friendly. - Ahh the raid queue, bane of all progression raiders. As far as challenges go, last month I was on LFR. LFR (Looking for Raid) is sort of the training wheels of the raid encounters. You get the basics, but as you progress in difficulty, the bosses get harder. More hit points, more side effects that could threaten to wipe the entire raid if you’re not paying attention. This month - I’m moving to Normal mode and I need to ‘know the fights’ to succeed. I’m focusing on the progress I made from January’s questline (abbreviated w/late start, but good start nonetheless!). I’ve used the time off between then January quest ending & our new quest starting to solidify a routine instead of a vague ‘strength’ Mondays and ‘cardio’ Fridays. Right now, I'm cautiously optimistic that I can make my workouts work with my trainer's HIIT workouts being used the following Monday (So what I did Wednesday will be what I do this coming Monday) and then the treadmill at work has a setting for beginners that starts at like, 20 minutes. I figure that's a good place to start - and I can adjust from there as I get into better shape. - In order to be a successful raider, you need to make sure your screen isn't cluttered up with unnecessary junk, Clearing up your UI so you can keep an eye on targets, adds, or (for healers) your friendly name plates, can make a measurable difference in your performance. Need I say more? I need to clean up the clutter around me & prepare for the ‘raid’ that is my life xD – De-cluttering desk space, and finishing cleaning up my professional stuff. I've been lazy in switching jobs, so I need to consolidate my HSA/FSA accounts, drain the HSA if I can’t transfer the funds, update my financial records like my 401k, add all sorts of logins to my master file, etc. [This is the building block toward one of my epic questlines – getting all of this sorted out = time to focus on creating the budget I need for my 2020 trip to Europe and my 2017 trip to the Caribbean]
  9. Shatyr continued her journey, heading for Ashenvale. Darkshore lay behind her, broken but still free. Those who remained would continue the rebuilding, trusting in her and other heroes to keep the forces of the Horde from reaching the forests. She would not let them down. Her first stop would be Maestra's Post, where Moon Priestess Maestra was waiting for reinforcements. ~~~/|\~~~ It's been a while since I posted on the forums, so I'll go ahead and do a brief introduction. I am 32 and I work tech support for a bank. This is not exactly a high activity job and it is really hard to pace in a cubicle. I went paleo about 2 years ago, lost 20 pounds (9kg for those who use the far more reasonable metric system), and promptly gained it all back again when I returned to the eating habits of my peers (curse you, grains!). After some incredibly helpful therapy, I've gotten to a place where I know who I don't want to be and how I don't want to live (hint: it's who and how I've been for the past 10 years or so). So now I'm tackling all those bad habits I've spent a lifetime developing while struggling with social anxiety. I have a very, very bad habit of disappearing, because escaping uncomfortable situations was my go-to reaction for decades. But the community here is so amazing and supportive, I don't want to disappear from it. I am an avid WoW player (Feral Druid since Vanilla, and it wasn't even viable back then!) and decided to design my 2016 challenges based on the Alliance zone path on Kalimdor (why yes, I am a Nerd. Thank you for being one too!). So, onto the good stuff! ~~~/|\~~~ Primary Goals: 1. Grow stronger Workout three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Starting numbers: Knee Push Up - 3x3 Assisted Pull Up - 3x3 Wall Squat - 3x3 Static Lunge - 3x3 Knee Plank - 5 sec 2. Discipline the mind Evening meditation, 24 nights Spend 3 minutes meditating before bed every night 3. Empty the packs Donate 1 box a week, 4 boxes total, of unneeded items to charity Secondary Professions: These things are parts of my life that I want to cultivate. I want to eat better and more varied dishes. I want to really emphasize cello in my life. I have begun to design my own cross stitch patterns and I want to see where this takes me. Cooking: 2 new recipes Honey Glazed Salmon Pulled Pork Bonus: Scalloped potatoes Enchanting (cello): Practice 30 minutes, three days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) 12 sessions total Bonus: The Irish Cello book Tailoring: Finish WIPs and start Birth Announcement #1 (Four people in my department are having kids. Don't drink the water!) Organize large storage box Organize patterns/kits Bonus: The Last Tapestry design phase one ~~~/|\~~~ That should be it for now. I'll have pictures and measurements ready to go on Sunday. In the meantime, I'm going to prep for work tomorrow. The alarm comes early (before sunrise, which just doesn't seem right).
  10. Hello! My NF name is Cleatorus, same as my WoW handle, and I am working on my second challenge. I would consider myself a Mountain Dwarf type at 4'11" and 167lbs. I am looking to be a warrior/ranger hybrid for strength and stamina. I want to be an adorable nature-loving, hiking, gardening person as well as a strong self-sufficient badass. I have let depression and stress eating keep me from living a healthy adult life. I used to play ITG/DDR constantly to keep in shape but after getting married and having a child my dance game routine has fallen to the wayside. I feel that my depression has gotten worse as a result of my unhealthy life. I work as a patent assistant at an Intellectual Property law firm so i'm at a desk all day. Luckily, we have a free membership the the Sport&Health downstairs! I used to get embarrassed even thinking about going to the gym but thanks to NF i've found the courage to go in on my lunches tu/thu/sometimes fri. I have been using the beautiful riverside park outside of my office as a place to run or just get moving under the sun. I have been getting into hiking and gardening as outdoor activities to be more active without scaring myself into being inactive again. I joined NF to be accountable to like-minded, accepting, individuals and to reach my lifestyle/weightloss goals. A summary: Current favorite music: Blues/indie rock I enjoy a lot of different types of music...from Drum and Bass (current favorite: camo & krooked) to alternative hip-hop (c fav: Deltron 3030) to pop (c fav: Marina and the Diamonds) and the list goes on. Sorry Country fans, I got burnt out on country in my early years. Current favorite game: Transistor or Hearthstone imo, Bastion is better than Transistor but i'm not done playing Transistor so i'll give it a run through before my final verdict. The games I cycle through: Castlevania: SOTN, Pokemon, BlazBlue, MvC, MvC2, Spyro series, WoW, Skyrim, ITG/DDR, Bastion, Minecraft...I think those are the main ones. Of course there's the massive steam library of my husband that'll I might maybe one day get around to looking at. Current favorite book: Ready Player One by Earnest Cline Much loved books: American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop, Hobbit & LoTR, and many many more... I am a Disney nerd. My favorite Disney movie is Beauty & the Beast but the one I watch much more frequently is my feel-good go-to Mulan. The Pebble and the Penguin deserves an honorable mention, even though it's Don Bluth and not Disney. I like Halloween. A lot. I am obsessively getting into veggie gardening and chicken raising. I have collected, but do not anymore, pokemon plush and video game figurines. I am hoping to find a local D&D group to join. I haven't played before but I would like to start! I will be starting school back up in August to finish my law degree. I would like to do public interest law and do some good in this world, help someone, protect someone, be super without the super powers! And thus, here I am, Cleatorus.
  11. Hi I'm Ray, last time I failed up my warrior challenge, set back mostly by some shoulder bursitus (sp?) and well I have some distance running to do and figure this would be an awesome place to set up camp. See what I can learn from the long runners. Little about me, I've always been an active sort, I've been actively going to the gym and doing a lot of moving. Unfortunately I've also always been an active eater as well. So just getting the diet to match the work out is always to main part. My Challenges Main Challenge: I want to be able to run a 5k on the treadmill, at 5% incline, in my lunch break at work without making me useless for the remainder of my work day. Lunch break is one hour, usually about 10 minutes each way and a little time for a cool down, so I guess I will try to shoot for a 35 minute 5k run. If I can reach it early I will shoot for the 5k at a higher incline first subbie: research and figure out the best way to help me reach an ideal way to eat healthy to fuel for endurance running, but still eat few enough calories that I can try to quickly lose a bunch of weight to make life easier on my joints. Thinking quinoa, and possibly eye balling fasted cardio/ second subbie: start working my way back into strength building exercises, up to 3 days a week. Shoulder injury sidelined me a little and even though I want to be able to run a marathon I still want to build up some strength because I'm a bro like that. Third subbie: Super mini duoatholon: pretty sure I made that up, but no pool at my gym, so I want to try up a 5 mile run at 5% incline run at the gym then a 20 mile bike ride, and finish it before a movie, Thinking kung pow, or serenity, or whatever else I can get onto my tablet that isn't lord of the rings long (feels like cheating to me) Life goal. Get stuff my YouTube channel. I kind of have I guess you can call it a bit of an entertainer streak, I used to be in a band and I had an excellent outlet to get out some ideas and get that out of me. I've been meaning forever to get some fun content onto a youtube channel that people may enjoy, also try to make some extra little income too would be nice
  12. I always hated rezzing from the graveyard. The loss in durability, et cetera, made it where basically, if you rez at the Spirit Healer, you may as well just hearth right there and get your stuff fixed and then have to run all the way back where you were.... But that's what I'm doing. I'm rezzing at the graveyard and Hearthing, because basically, I have to start all. Flipping. Over. Back to modified Primal. Back to walking so I can get up enough gumption to start my Zombies, Run! over. Back to trying to figure out whether bodyweight or my Total Gym is better for me on any given day. I hate this. But I hate being 252 pounds even more. *sigh* On a good note, I am looking around, checking the AH for new gear -- picked up a George Foreman grill and a food processor for a lovely pair of prices at the after Christmas sales, and I've ordered DDP Yoga. Didn't see the steamer I wanted, but that's okay, too. I'll order it from Amazon if I have to. And the new house has a built-in microwave above the stove, so that's a plus. Though I will have to play with the cooking times on those frozen veggies...tonight's were -- wilted. To say the least. No idea what I'll do for the challenge -- I may sit this first one out, just to try to get things on track without pressure. So, time to hearth. *green light surrounds me as my hands kind of wave around, then pop out of sight*
  13. Day Eighteen. Just discovered that there's a "Daily Battle Logs" forum. How did I not come across this sooner? No matter. I've been keeping a log of my meals/snacks and activities elsewhere, specifically a goofy notebook with "artsy"-looking horses on it (affectionately named, "Pony Book"). I'll start keeping track on here, too, so I feel a bit more of the accountability I'm looking for. Foodstuffs Breakfast: Apple + almond butter (homemade; delicious) Snack: Assorted nuts (cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds) Lunch: Pulled pork Dinner: Apple (apparently addicted to them today), green beans & pearl onions Activity Hour walk after breakfast 52-minute bike ride (moderate) Fun fact: that bike ride was as long as the Demon Days album by Gorillaz (plus the very last chorus twice because it's just that good) Thoughts/Struggles When I began my Nerd Fitness quest, I was getting up around 5 AM to work out before going to work (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, weekdays). Last week, I had a really hard time getting out of bed in time, and I was often "too tired" to get in a good work-out after coming home. I cheated on my diet a few times, which I'd been doing well with for about two weeks (nearly all paleo). Basically, I just kept making excuses. I took this entire week off from work because my brother's home from Japan (only for a week, sadly), so I'd really like to take this time to get back on track. Unfortunately, I slept in this morning, so I'll be doing my workout after I type this. Another struggle I'm having is that I don't really have much of a support group, and I'm also kind of terrible at making friends without feeling creepy. So if you're reading this, hello. Let's be friends. (That's basically how it worked when we were toddlers; why shouldn't it work now?) I was so excited when Steve posted the article on how to deal with haters, because that's one of my biggest issues. I don't have many friends who live in the area, and those that do aren't really the healthiest of individuals. I get a lot of typical comments: "You're not eating grains or dairy? That's a little extreme, don't you think?" "You can afford a little leniency with your diet. It's not like you're fat." "You don't really have to work out that much, do you?" etc etc. It's heartbreaking when it comes from friends/family, who I'd expect to support me for something like this. Yes, I know I'm not "fat." I'm 143 lbs and 5'9", which is pretty much average. What they don't understand is that I don't like being average; I want to be awesome. More on this later. Time to work out.
  14. I sit behind a desk for a living in a job that always has food around and that provides doughnuts every Friday. As a result, I have jumped back to 255 on Jan 1st. I am tired of being overweight At the first of the year, I jumped back into the slow/carb diet and on 12th I was sitting at 240. This week I am making the transition to Paleo. basically cutting out beans. It has been tough this week, I am hungry a ton. I seem to be eating every few hours. And I still have the bad habit of 1 12oz Diet soda a day - I am drinking a ton of water though! I also started the basic body weight workouts this week. My fitness goals: Tough Mudder in 2014 180lbs 10% body fat by Jan 1 touch my palms to the floor (not flexible enough to touch my toes yet) I am glad to be here - looking to find some accountability other than my wife and my waist. Happy to be here!
  15. Good day everyone! I'm Halifirien. You can call me Hal. Or Hali. Or my real name, Cory. I'm here today because I'm ready to change my life. I have never been a physically fit person. I've spent most of my time either in school, playing video games, watching movies, reading books, or any number of other nerdtastic activities. I won't give you the long version of this story (though anyone who wants to know is free to ask), mainly because I hate typing. We have Vent/Mumble/Teamspeak/Skype for long stories. After 24 years of nerdery, I'm ready to get fit. This is mainly to be healthy, but I have other nerd activities that I would like to pursue that would work a lot better if I were fit (i.e. cosplay). Also, "I want to see mountains again, mountains, Gandalf!" True story. The first time I knew I wanted to be fit was when I couldn't hike for more than half a mile near the top of Mt. Rainier. And I swore that the next time I was there that I would make it to the top. I've always been able to focus on only two full time things during my life (as I'm sure all of us have). For the past 7 years that has been school, and the World of Warcraft. I've dropped WoW to make my fitness and health my second full time activity. I'm ready to stop playing in Azeroth and become the Tauren Warrior that I've been questing with for so many years, in real life. There you have it. Good day, Halifirien
