  1. I have been reading NF for some months now and have finally decided to join the community and tackle my first six week challenge! I am new to forums and slightly unsure of the process and how to define appropriate goals but with armed with the knowledge I have gained from reading NF, here goes: Goal 1: Fully commit to the Paleo diet for the duration of the six week challenge. Con +2 / Sta + 1 / Str + 1 For the last several weeks I have been playing around with the Paleo diet to see how my body reacts and I have decided to make the commitment and follow the diet methodology for the full six week challenge, excluding one weekend vacation up to San Francisco where I am eating at an Italian restaurant I have been wanting to eat at for years. I love to cook so deriving meals won't be too challenging but the forethought and planning required for breakfast and lunch (I work a 9 to 6 office job) are going to be a big challenge. My plan of attack: Prep, Prep, Prep...Sunday will be my prep day where I cook up protein to cover a large percentage of my weekday lunches and make plans for my weekly meals. Goal 2: Follow the Rebel Fitness Guide for 4 weeks and then transition to the Rebel Strength Guide for the last two weeks. Str + 2 / Sta + 2 As I noted above I work in an office and thus I literally sit for a bare minimum of 9 hours a day, I am a healthy weight but I feel very out of shape for a 29 year old guy. I wanted my goal to be more specific than "get in shape" but I don't yet have a baseline of what my body is currently capable of so making a specific forward looking goal would be difficult; thus, I will start the fitness guide, learn where my body is at and define specific goals by the end of this week Goal 3: Become a productivity and follow through ninja! (Ongoing goal, quite possibly into perpetuity) Wis + 2 / Cha + 1 / Con + 1 I find that I often do not use my time efficiently and I want to change this aspect of myself so I am starting with what I think are a few attainable goals: 1) Wake up at 7:30am twice a week (Tues and Thurs are the target days), this will allow me to transition into riding my bike to work (a future goal). 2) Watch no more than 1 hour of television at night during the week, excluding the occasional movie with my significant other. Life / Fun Goal: Walk a 90 foot slackline back and forth four times without falling off Dex + 2 / Str + 1 This ends my very first post and the identification of my goals for the NF community to see. Here goes!
