I am probably a little older than most of you at 53, walking and squats don't work for an old man. I have been active most of my life until that last few years, former soldier, construction work, fishing, boating and bicycling, now with father time chasing me certain parts of me are worn out or just arthritic. Is there an alternate exercise for squats on the beginner body weight work out? Also, again a bad body part thing, I am riding a recumbent road bike now instead of walking, how far or long should I ride?
