  1. I found this really awesome recipe for pumpkin butter here: http://nickyintheraw.com/2010/10/27/pumpkin-butter/ It's really good and really versatile! It's not super thick but if you kept it on the stove longer it definitely could be! I've used this on numerous things like a fruit salad, as a fruit dip, banana pancakes, chicken, as a salad dressing, and in shakes! I didn't add the apple cider to mine and it still tastes awesome. It makes a lot so it will last for a week or two. Recipe: Nicky in the Raw Pumpkin Butter - 2 cups pumpkin puree - 1/4 cup apple cider - 1/4 cup maple syrup - 1/8 cup raw honey - 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice* - 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon Mix all the ingredients into a sauce pot, covered, and simmer for 30 minutes while stirring frequently. * If you don't have pumpkin pie spice at home you can easily make it with spices that you already have: - 2 tbsp cinnamon - 1 tbsp ground ginger - 2 tsp ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp allspice - 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  2. Hopefully you were drawn by my incredibly foolish but also curiousity enspiring "Topic Title". Still haven't decided if that choice makes me crazy cool or amazingly drool (I attempted to rhyme). Okay guys and gals! I'm new to this website (rather the forums; been reading the blog for about a year now). I've finally decided to live and become as fit as I can possibly be. I have one huge problem though. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE TO START IN A GOSH DARN GYM! (seriously I suck) Although I played high school sports I mostly always relied on my natural athletic abilities to get by so I never saw the need to exercise or workout. However, after depression and a load of self loathing hits... Well, basically I've become overweight and extremely uncomfortable in my own skin. SO FELLOW NERD FITNESS NERDS JOIN ME IN THIS EPIC QUEST (and please help me come up with a workout plan). I know dieting is important too (I've been doing some reading n_n). I'm already 8 days weight free and plan to start as close to full on Paleo as I possibly can. Just for some background info: 21 years of age6ft4in tall245 pounds I'm going to try and document my journey on here and I trust you guys will accept me and provide me with a good support system to carry through!   3. Hi there! I've been recently conquering the Adventurer mini-challenge to eat 1-2 full days of Paleo. Now, while that's not an amazing feet, I'd like to keep the process going, but I need some help. I want to find a good replacement for peanut butter. That was my go-to snack when I was craving something sweet but didn't want to have a dessert. I know of things like almond butter, etc, but I've never bought them or used them. If you have any brand suggestions and where I could find them (online or otherwise) that would be awesome. I know things can be overpriced, so I don't wanna be made a sucker out of, but if it's quality I'm paying for I'm fine with it. Thanks in advance for chiming in
