If you are reading this right now, it means I have successfully posted it. 2018 (The year we all become murlocs) Quests 4 Week Challenge Quests: Quest Line: Lose 59 lbs. Hit my daily step goal of 10000 steps. 5000 the first week, then add 1666.66 (repeating of course) steps each week until 10000 is reached Quest Line: Get Out of Debt Cook as many meals on Saturday and Sunday as possible to reduce dining out spending by 50% (dropping from $220/mo to $110/mo) Quest Line: Become Much Better At Magic Read Royal Road to Card Magic: Chapter One and watch the accompanying videos Quest Line: Become A Much Better Vocalist Complete KTVA Streaming Lessons Vol 1 and practice 30 minutes a day 3 days a week OK Rebels. Let's do this!
  2. This is going to be my second challenge. I'm writing the thread a bit late, but here it goes. Main Quest: Lose the belly pouch Bottom line is i wanna have a body to be proud of, so when i look at it i can feel empowered. I'm getting closer every day, the last challenge level me up already. I feel happier, i love what i look in the mirror every day, i know i'm getting there. The change is not only in the outside, it's more an inside issue, the need is to feel alive, not walking dead anymore. So that is why this challenge is once more called "Save the cheerleader, save world", that's for my inner cheerleader, i need here to go where i always wanted to be. More specifically, i want to reach this goals: Get to 20% body fat, i'm currently on 31.5% (almost to the start of this challenge Nov12, this is 2% less than the beginning of the last challenge) Drop to my healthy weight 62kg, i'm currently on 67.1kg (just 0.4kg less than the beginning of the last challenge, i'm building muscle, so i don't focus on this number so much as for the %fat lost)Hydrate my cells, currently 48.4% of body water (1.4% more than the beginning of the last challenge), for the %fat of my body i should be between 49 and 52, so i'm barely there, i have to keep drinking enough water every day. So New Challenge, New Goals. Though, I'm keeping the one's from last challenge i struggle with. Goal #1: Exercise every day Running/Yoga So i always go to the gym 3 times a week, monday, wednesday and friday, it has become a habit. As for saturdays i go for a interval running about 20-30 minutes. But i'd like to some kind of exercise the rest of the week, to remind me i'm changing my lifestyle. So for this goal i want to either choose in go for a 15 minutes interval run or a 15 minutes yoga flow session the rest of the week, tuesday, thursday and sundays. Goal #2: Maintain a healthy Paleo Diet What i've been struggling with lately is eating properly, i understand i cannot overlap my fork. So Paleo Diet it is, but i need to do as follows: Watch out with yogurt (it's not paleo, but i believe it's okay to eat of it's non-sugar, low-calorie, and low-serving)Watch out on sweet fruits (fruits are paleo, but sugar at last, and i need to keep them low)Only one sweet-potato or banana a day, except for gym day (i always eat one before the gym and one afterwards)Lot's and lot's of veggies, as much as i want.Eggs for breakfast, chicken breast for lunch and dinner. I need enough protein to build my muscle, specially focus on dinner, as i tend to eat fruits and yogurt instead .Eat more fish, at least to time's a week or get a fish oil supplement. Lot's of water, a big 500ml glass with every meal i eat, as i eat average 6 meals, that will be enough. Goal #3: Keep track of what i eat I don't have problem tracking my weight, %fat, %water, measurements, etc. But when it comes to food, i'm a disaster. I need to update my journal every night, that's it, so it becomes a habit. I also need this information to accomplish goal#2 Side Quest: Learn to use Wordpress I said i wanted to level up to do the stuff i always wanted to do. Well, one of them is starting my own blog of my passion wich is 3D Origami. But i don't know how to use Wordpress, my sister is helping me, but i also got this book that teaches all what you must know about it, the "Wordpress Bible". The book has 27 chapters (477pages), the challenge last 6 weeks, so to complete this challenge i will have to read 5 chapters per week, an average of 80 pages per week. Stats so far Nov 12 Weight: 67.1kg %fat: 31.5% %water: 48.4% The Before - Nov 11Nov 17 Height: 168cm Arm: 28.5cm Thigh: 54cm Hip: 104cm Waist: 71cm Chest: 89cm Neck: 33cm Shoulder: 99cm Calf: 38cm Motivation Just to be clear, i'm doing this because...   3. Main Quest: Lose the belly pouch I was thinking how to resume what my main goal is. I want to have a body i'm proud of, so when i look at it i can feel empowered, and it will be the first step to level up my life. It's been long since the last time i felt i could achieve something in life. Lately it's been like walking dead. I need this so much, not for the beach body, not to get in any cloth i like in the store, those are just a plus, but to feel alive again, to feel i can actually achieve something. "Save the cheerleader, save world" i'll never forget that phrase, i'll start with the inner me, the first one to be cheering me up, then i'll be a change for the world. To measure, more specifically: Get to 16% body fat, i'm currently on 33.5% (to the start of this challenge Sept16)Drop to my healthy weight 63.5kg, i'm currently on 67.5kgHydrate my cells, i have only 47% of body water, for the %fat of my body i should be between 37 and 49, so it's ok, but i still think i could drink more water. Would be amazing if i was 70% water, aquawomen! Female Body Water Chart Body Fat % Body Water % 4-20% 58-70% 21-29% 52-58% 30-32% 49-52% 33%+ 37-49% Source:http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art13909.asp Goal #1: Exercise 4 times a week PART 1 I will go to the gym 3 times a week: monday, wednesday and friday. I'm currently doing a routine called StrongLifts 5x5. I love it because i can scale-up the amount of weight i lift, which i've never done before, and it feels amazing. So i'll keep with it: Routine A: Squat 5x5 + Bench Press 5x5 + Row 5x5Routine B: Squat 5x5 + Overhead Press 5x5 + Deadlift 1x5 I'll alternate both routines for the 3 day of the week i'm going to the gym. Building muscle is the best way i find to burn the fat. After the weight-lifting i do a short High Intensity interval training with the elliptic. And afterward stretch up for 10 minutes. PART 2 I will go for a High intensity interval running on Saturdays. I live in front of a big park, so i will run as fast as i can the shorter sides and walk the long sides. I also start my day with 1L of water with one lemon, works magic for the vowels movement, lol. Goal #3: Keep track of my weight, bodyfat% and what i eat So many times i've started and after 3 months i don't understand why i haven't lose weight, so i think a journal is necessary, so i will use a little cute notebook to write it all down, everyday. Side Quest: Complete my Origami Senbazuru Project I have this passion for origami, specially 3D Origami. But i started the Senbazuru project (fold a 1000 paper cranes) almost 4 years ago, i have 300 cranes at the moment, but i want to finish it once and for all. I think if i can finish this then i can start other projects, i have lot's of ideas, but i've been to afraid of pursuing any of them. I need this to start moving. So let's see, 5 more weeks to finish the challenge, i'll fold 140 cranes per week, 20 cranes a day. 300 cranes right there Stats so far These are the stats from monday sept 16, so i can track week by week my progress. I know i'm posting late for the challenge, but still on time, right? Sept 16 Weight: 67.5kg %fat: 33.5% %water: 47% I don't think this photo shows the belly pouch, the pants are very stretchy, i hope it works for the comparison.
