  1. Even though I'm already more than a week late, I hope I can still join in the challenge! My main quest at the moment is about kicking some ass. I want to challenge myself to a couple of things which I wouldn't have dared to try before...because I'm scared of failing, of how people might judge me...so now I just want to put the anxiety on the back burner for a while and get down to what I want to achieve, regardless of what other people might think of me. Which leads me to my quests: - I've started ballet dance classes a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. I always thought I'd be too akward for dancing, but I'm so glad I finally overcame my fear and tried. I'm very unflexible though, so my first quest is to actually stretch at least 3 times a week, holding the split stretch for a minute and repeating twice (of course after warming up first). - I want to increase my strength, so I'll do the bodyweight workout at least once a week, and keep track of what I did! Ultimately I want to be able to do a pull-up but I don't think that's realistic for this challenge. If I'm not going to dance class, I'll replace it with a body weight workout. - I want to improve my eating habits by curbing bored/emotional eating. Before eating outside of mealtimes or planned snacks (2 snacks allowed daily), I'll drink a glass of water or tea. Afterwards, if I still want to eat, I'll do 10 squats. If I still want to eat then, I'll eat fruit or vegetables. Apart from this, no obsessive thoughts about eating right/wrong! Life quest: Do 10 min of French every day and afterwards congratulating myself on being awesome. In French. Making a game of it seems like a good way of staying motivated, since I tend to get distracted from my goals easily. So hopefully posting on here will make me feel more accountable! I guess I'll see.
