  1. Hello, fellow Druids! I am returning to Nerdfitness.com like a child coming back home from college. I started as an Adventurer on Nerdfitness.com a couple on months ago in which I struggled to find a plan that would help me. Through help with Nerdfitness.com (especially some fellow rebels) and several other sites, books, and people, I made the transition to a diet and fitness lifestyle that would combine two of my beliefs; 1. Belief that our nutrition should be based on nature and uncomplicated 2. Belief that our body should be as fit as functionally possible As a result, I came to embrace several different things, including; PaleoYogaMeditationPrimal fitnessI begin the day with yoga and meditation and end with yoga (Hatha) and meditation. I practice Primal Fitness (bodyweight exercises) two to three times a week and engage in light cardio (walking or something else cardio-like) two to three times a week. As a result, I am able to concentrate more, have more flexibility, and much more relaxed approach toward food. While I have attempted many of the elements before, I approached all of them differently this time. Rather than try to change everything at one time, I incorporated each part (Yoga, Meditation) slowly into my daily routine in my life. My goal is not to achieve a set point, rather it is to gain proficiency in each thing. As an example, I'm not seeking to reach a point with yoga, I'm seeking to have fun learning how to be a yogi. I'm not a full "Paleo" yet, but I am enjoying the process of learning and experimenting with it. I am in this for the ride, not the destination. At this point, my goal now is to develop. I have selected the foundation or path that I want to follow, now I need to embody that path. I will be wandering around here every couple of days for guidance, questions, and ideas on my way and when the time is good, I may enter a Challenge. In either case, until I become whatever I'm suppose to be... Here's to both of our journeys (yours and mine)
