  1. This is my first time actually running through a challenge. I am no stranger to pushing myself though. A quick background. In December I weighted in at 252 lbs. I was huge. I was not happy. So, I went mostly paleo for 90 days. I plotted out a 1000 calorie a day deficit. 2 pounds a week. I also added one gym day a week to my schedule. It was a "Project me" thing. I dropped down to 233. I then added running and lifting to my weekly plan. I dd a couch to 5k program and started a simple routine to get my body used to the weights again. I one month plateau and some determination I started to see progress again. So, Since January I have lost 36.6 pounds. Since March 5th I have dropped 12.2% bodyfat. I am currently 215 lbs and 24.5%. My goals for this challenge are simple. Drop to 20% body fat. Drop 1 minute off my 1 mile run. This would bring me to a 9 minute mile. Pass the Army Fitness test. (I am ex-Air Force, but the Army test is a harder goal.) Complete my unfinished sewing projects form the basement. (One tabard, one early 16th century Spanish outfit, one suit of fencing armor) That's the list at the moment. Now to get down to working on it.
