  1. I want to change this challenge up and create my own Boss type battle =) My little pony style of course! Battle Round 1 – Nightmare Moon. Long ago, Luna and Celestia were both the rulers of Equestria, a land inhabited by ponies. Every morning, Celestia would raise the sun, and every evening, Luna would raise the moon. Together, they kept the balance perfectly. One day, however, Luna grew jealous: the ponies would be awake to enjoy the day and love, admire, and appreciate Celestia's work, but would always sleep through her far more beautiful night. One day, Luna turned on Celestia, saying she should be the only princess in Equestria, and raised the moon before the bitterness in her heart manifested and transformed her into Nightmare Moon. Celestia did not want to fight Nightmare Moon and told her to lower the moon, but Nightmare Moon said her only royal duty was to destroy Celestia, and shot at her with magic beams, eventually knocking her down. Seeing no other way, Celestia reluctantly used the Elements of Harmony to overpower Nightmare Moon and banish her to the moon, creating the phenomenon known as "the Mare in the Moon" (a unicorn's face imprinted upon the surface of the moon). It is said that in a thousand years, on the longest day of that year, Nightmare Moon will make her return. She has now returned! Boss Health – 1500 Boss’s Abilities – Infest with toxins (diet soda) 5 HP Damage - I am so addicted to this crap. They don’t happen 1 at a time, it is like 6-8 a day. Eeeek. So many bad things in each one. Quake (weigh self) 5 HP Damage - The number on the scales should not be a judge of my mood that day, or if I should go out with friends, or my health in general. I want to start measuring my health/fitness in other areas, like run times or how I feel in general. Shadow Trap (Give Up) 10 HP Damage - Each challenge I do great for a week, or a few days, then I get the “I give up” mentality. Or it doesn't matter anyways. Which usually means I stop doing my daily goals and just go into a pity party mode. If it didn’t matter, why start to begin with? Obviously these challenges do matter to me, I keep doing them! Blood Mirror (Lies/Excuses) 2 HP Damage - I lie. I lie mostly as giving excuses for why I cannot do something. I lie when I do not want to hurt someone’s feelings. I lie to myself as to why I should walk instead of run or why I shouldn’t push myself at the gym. I need to be honest in all areas of my life. Uncontrollable Frenzy (Emotional Eating) 5 HP Damage - We all do this. Bad day, eat bad food that helps right? No! I always feel worse and go in a downward spiral. I am not tracking food or having any certain eating plans, just don't eat like crap because I want to shut out emotions or because I am tired. Life Siphon (Negative Self-talk) 5 HP Damage - We are all our own worst enemies. I am so harsh to myself. How can I better myself if I am constantly criticizing myself? Rainbow Dash has volunteered as tribute for this battle! Health – 100 Skills – Killing Spree (15 Min Workout) – 2 Damage per 15 Minutes - I found a 10k training program I plan to follow. 6 workouts + 1 rest day. My rest day I plan to do light walking with some Yoga/stretching. Mind Blast (Daily Reflection) – 5 Damage Daily - Something happens each day to make me smile. I accomplish something. I get a good laugh at something on the internet, or something my kids do, or my animals. Each night before I go to bed, I will sit down write down at least one thing that was awesome from the day. It is easy because I know I have an awesome life. Mind Flay (Log/track workouts) – 5 Damage Daily - I am bad at keeping track of my workouts. I use Jefit for my weight workouts, but I am awful at tracking my runs. How can I know if I improve if I do not track the progress? My goal is to run a 10k in less than an hour. 3/26/16 - 6.2 miles in 1:02:47, so I need to shed 3 minutes off that run time, hopefully by 5/30/16 which is my next 10k. My time is on treadmill so I know IRL running will be different. Adrenaline Rush (7+ hours sleep) – 10 Damage Daily - HAHA! This is big. I average 6 hours a night. I feel like crap all the time. I need to work on this. I know I can’t control if I lay awake at night, so this is just be in bed for 7+ hours. So that means I need to be laying in bed by 8pm, my alarm goes off @ 3am. Or if I find I cannot make that happen, then I need to adjust my alarm to a later time. Sleep is super important. Desperate Measures (5 Min Stretching) – 5 Damage Each - I have a hard time forcing myself to stretch. It takes away time from my workouts! LOL I feel tight and sore a lot so I think more stretching will help my workouts overall. Soothe Mind (Positives) – 1 Damage Each - I will be doing a daily reflection, so why not include some positive motivation with the reflection? The more positives I can list the better =) remove negativity and add positivity! ShadowStep (Lunch Walk) - 20 Damage - During the week I will go for walk during lunch, weather permitting, or if weather is bad, I will do the stairs for at least 30 minutes. Divine Purpose (Ranger Mini) - 10 Damage per Week - I am really bad at starting the minis but not finishing! Now I have more motivation. Bonus Damage – Raging Blow (ToDo list item completed) 25 Damage Each - So many things I want to get done this year! I am making pretty good progress, but I seem to be putting off the larger items. I need to tackle more! Health pots can be gathered by various quests– If I am taking damage from boss, I can always get health pots to use to regain my health. Tame Beast (Walk Dogs) +10 HP - Weather has not really been great for this lately. I used to walk my dog 2+ miles a day. She is older and cannot handle as much. Life of the Party (Socialize) +25 HP - Go out! Plan family stuff. Be Social. Stop being a hermit! Rune-Inscribed Note (30 min reading self-help book) +20 HP - I have a couple of books I want to read. A complaint free world is one of them. Spirit Totem (5 Min Meditation) +5 HP - I am awful at just slowing down. MUST MULTITASK AT ALL TIMES! I need to stop sometimes and just allow my thoughts to flow through instead of pushing them away. Be present and live in the moment. The Hermit (30 Min Me Time) +15 HP - Video games, hot bath, manicure, pedicures, anything I want! Read a book (not self help) Let the battle begin!
