My name is Sean, I'm 48, getting back into exercise. I'm a homebrewer and love electronic gadgets. I have been working out for a few years, but never consistant. I always want to look good for summer, but always fail, I'm hoping to change that this year. This is my first challenge, so I kind of went with the guide for some of these. The first is to eat a salad at work, eat oatmeal at breakfast at work and no energy drinks. The fitness will be the gym 3-4x a week Level up my life will be to meditate 5 minutes a day. So here is my list Oatmeal for breakfast at
1st Post - I picked up some extra lard when I quit smoking and a self defense line (see my topic title). Currently eat vegetables,lean meats, but not getting the performance out of this because I eat other stuff as well (processed foods, sugar) and don't control my intake amounts of good but high calorie stuff (nuts,etc) and what I am learning are bad (grains). No real exercise plan either, as much as I want to BS myself, mowing the lawn isn't really exercise. I expect to learn and implement much about eating and exercise from Nerd Fitness. Hi fellow nerds, I'm a geeky middle-aged Mom of two teenage boys, married to another geek, and generally quite happy with my life. However, it's high time I get back into shape. I'm glad you all are here, and I'm hoping to find some online friends for mutual goal support. I've never been a skinny gal, but I did a lot of hiking, cycling, and some weight lifting in my younger years. About nine years ago, I had a herniated disc in my lower back. After the operation, I never quite got my back and core muscles whipped into shape. I'm currently 20 lbs overweight, and without much strength or st
