Super interesting article on the topic: https://examine.com/nutrition/how-much-protein-do-i-need/ Now, I'll readily admit that this feeds into my bias: that for most people in most situations, 1g protein/lb bodyweight is a good guideline. Obviously for some people this may be a bit too much, while for others it's still insufficient. But what do you think of the cumulative recommendations they've shown? Always interested to hear what conclusions folks have for this kind of stuff!
