  1. Hey everyone! I'm coming up with a reward structure for my goals and I'm hitting a wall. My first thoughts were exactly the kind of thing I don't want: bad food, day off exercise, etc... Now I can only think of big rewards instead of smaller ones for smaller goals. What are some examples of rewards you've given yourself for hitting goals?
  2. Howdy, guys! I’m back for challenge #2 of my respawn! Last challenge went all right, but needed some tweaking for the second round. Goals are staying roughly the same, or within the same vein, and I’ve made things a bit more interesting. Not only do I have an actual theme this time around, but I’ve also done some gamifying! This challenge is wholly inspired by Cowboy Bebop, which is one of my all time favourite animes (right along side Ghost in the Shell). This show came about in the late 90’s (early 2000’s for the US), and was quite progressive for it’s time. I used to stay up until ridiculous hours just to watch it in my early high school years. As I never got around to watching every episode back then, the BF and I have been going through the series over the last week. I’ve grown a new appreciation for it, and it saddens me that I haven’t found anything modern that even comes close to being on par as it (if anyone knows of any, let me know!!). Well, without much ado, lets get this thing started! Cowboy Bebop Intro
  3. Hi everyone, I've just started NF on the weekend, read through all the lessons, set my goals and did the bodyweight level 1 workout for the first time yesterday. I nearly died!! Feeling a bit sore today as well. But I've got a couple of rewards to look forward to. If I stick to my goals of 3 x 30 minutes strength training workouts per week and don't drink any alcohol during the week, after three weeks I will book into a thai or indian cooking class. If I stick to it for 6 weeks then I'm going on a 1 hour off-road segway bush bash! Should be fun If I miss one of my goals then my punishment is I have to do one load of my boyfriend's laundry and iron any shirts in that load. I loathe ironing and laundry so that is quite a turn off! Does anyone want to share their rewards or punishments? Also any fun fitness ideas would be welcome! I'm going to try stand-up paddle boarding. Also trying out interval training with a running club tonight and I've got a bike ride planned in two weeks with a new riding buddy. Cheers, Lulu.
  4. I'm falconer007. I've been a falconer for almost 4 years now, enjoy hunting rabbits with my red tail hawk, as well as training education birds, designing, and leading raptor conservation programs. I've lost 20lbs in the past 2.5 months, and am feeling so much better, that I want to keep going, (or at least stay where I am). I want to lose weight so that I can race my bird to the bunnies, keep flushing out prey at a reasonable speed so she stays interested in hunting with me, and increase my stamina so that I can help with group hunts. Goals: Swimming laps/water aerobics at least once a week (I was severely depressed, then working in AK, so have't been in a pool since Oct)Walk 35k a week (five days)drink 64 oz of water daily1 day a month of juice fasting I'm kicking off my 6 weeks with a 5k mud obstacle course (Rugged Maniac)- walking it. And to keep up with my goal, I have an excel sheet on my phone, a 32 oz water bottle next to my bed (can at least empty it when wake up/go to bed), a packed gym bag in my car, and mp3 player living with my walking shoes and camera (since I like taking nature pictures).
