The working weekends look set to continue for the next few weeks so this challenge is aimed mainly at keeping me going at a minimal level of activity throughout the long, dark days, but I also have my eyes on the Sculler's Head of the River Race so I think my goals are: Scull once each weekend and get to the rowing club at least once during the week. Evening rowing is probably ending soon, so this will most likely be ergo or circuit-training Run at least once a week, even if it's only ten minutes When I feel myself getting deskbound, get up and walk around for a bit. Don't get backache. Watch the calories - and specifically, no alcohol and no snacks other than fruit and juice-lollies after dinner time. Do something involving portuguese at least 3 times a week. Since I don't have heaps of time this will most likely be a Michel Thomas audio lesson or reading on the train, but at least one of them per week will involve writing. If I can do more, I will, but that's the target. I have one race this time - a 10K in Kew Gardens at the end of week 1 - but I'm not expecting much and in fact I might not do it at all.
