  1. Checking in and starting my next challenge! I'm currently down 23.2lbs and loving it! Over half way! Only 9.4lbs to the first goal of 210, and 19.4 to the second goal. Since the start of the last challenge I lost about 4lbs. Had a difficult time for a couple weeks as my grandma passed away but i'm using my strength to remember her and continue going in her name! I did also acquire my first belt in Krav Maga! On to level 2 It was one of the hardest tests I've accomplished. Both physically and mentally challenging. Around 30 weeks or so and the level 2 test will take place! I've updated my goals below. Main Quest: Lose (32.6lbs) by June 1 & lose (42.6lbs) by September 1. Both of these numbers are from starting January 1. My main goal started January 1. 2014 didn't end positive, but it started fantastic. The Main Quest will end after a trip to Mexico, so I'm looking to stay healthy on vacation! Quest 1: Go to Krav 3 times a week This should be a simple quest. As I already committed to 3 times a week, this will be a great workout. Quest 2: Run two times a week Sadly this one didn't pass last round, but when I did run, I wasn't winded at all! Thank you Krav Maga Quest 3: Go 90% Paleo Paleo has not been easy for me. I've done it about 80-90% of the time and I'm okay with that. there are a few things that I still enjoy enough that are not too horribly bad for me. Side Quest 1: Go for a run/walk in the morning before work. I've been getting better sleep, so I go to bed earlier, and wake up earlier. I will use the extra time before work to run or walk. Side Quest 2: Ride my bike more often This goes with Quest 1 and 2. I ride my bike to the gym to work out and run. Motivation: Friends, Family, Coworkers. I've had a lot of friends follow my progress of working out, running, trends that I've taken on. I want to encourage everyone to not only follow what I do, but to see them commit to it and be healthy themselves. Life Quest: Podcast is going great, want to grow that to be even bigger Moving out of the stressful house this year, that will free up time and money! Reward System: Weight Loss Info(Instead of credits, xp, or $, I prefer info.     Turbo Kick!

    Checking in and starting my next challenge! I'm a couple weeks behind from starting, I started a new job, so that's exciting! I've been going strong with my weight loss! Today I weighed in at 202.2! That's 40.4 lbs down!! Getting close I know I only have 10 days left in this challenge, but I wanted to throw it in there to keep the motivation going! Level 2 Krav Maga has been going strong! Love it so much. Pushing really hard to be Level 3 by the end of the year, and maybe Level 1 instructor as well!! Main Quest: Lose more than/maintain (42.6lbs) by September 1. This number is from starting January 1, 2015. My Goal is to drop a few more lbs by September 1! I'm close to the goal, so I will keep going! Quest 1: Stick with going to Krav 3 times a week I've been going 3 times a week! Just want to stick with it Quest 2: Run two times a week I want to keep this as a main Quest as I've signed up for the Spartan Super in August! Quest 3: Go 90% Paleo Paleo has not been easy for me. I've done it about 80-90% of the time and I'm okay with that. there are a few things that I still enjoy enough that are not too horribly bad for me. Side Quest 1: Go for a run/walk in the morning before work. Getting closer to this one, i've been waking up earlier, but still need to just hop out of bed and go!     Turbo Charged!!

    2014 Ended pretty bad. Stress everywhere around me, holidays being lonely, and eating HORRIBLY. Well, January 5th hit and I was back from vacation. I started with 2 friends of mine to do a weight loss challenge. I bought the Nerd Fitness Academy, and have been using that since then. It has definitely helped towards my goal! I have updated my quests below. I currently have 100 info since January 5th, so I'm looking forward to maxing that out I'm currently down 17.8lbs and loving it! Almost half way to the goal. Main Quest: Lose (42.6lbs) by June 1. My main goal started January 1. 2014 didn't end positive, but it started fantastic. The Main Quest will land me on a beach in Mexico for a few days! Quest 1: Hit the Gym 3 times a week The gym has been my friend since high school. It's there when I need it, and there when I don't go to taunt me about not going. If I go 3 times a week minimum, I'm pretty sure I can smile and feel better. Quest 2: Run two times a week I've always tried to run. I've accomplished mud runs, and a 10 mile race. But, I work up to those. I want this quest to be about making running a hobby and habit. To the point of I feel broke if I don't accomplish this habit. Quest 3: Go 100% Paleo Since January 5th, I've been working on removing various items from my diet. Working towards removing bread completely, and greek yogurt. Those are my last two hangups. Side Quest 1: Go for a run/walk in the morning before work. I've been getting better sleep, so I go to bed earlier, and wake up earlier. I will use the extra time before work to run or walk. Side Quest 2: Ride my bike more often This goes with Quest 1 and 2. I ride my bike to the gym to work out and run. Motivation: Friends, Family, The girl(whoever she may be in the future). I've had a lot of friends follow my progress of working out, running, trends that I've taken on. I want to encourage everyone to not only follow what I do, but to see them commit to it and be healthy themselves. Life Quest: Continue and excel my podcast. Also make 2015 the year of paying off small debts I have. Also, get out of the stress zone which is called my house!     Turbo Redux

    So my challenge a while ago, didn't go to well. Distractions were in the air, and was a little overwhelmed with work and other personal things. So, I'm going for a better round this time. For my quest I will keep it somewhat the same. I have been running, going to the gym, and for the first part of quest 3, swore off McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, and any other processed burger joint like that. Sticking to Jimmy Johns if I do go out (and I get an unwich instead of bread). Wish me luck! Main Quest: Lose (35lbs) by New Years 2015.If I can drop the 25lbs by the new year, I will not only have just turned 30, but I'll have the feeling that I'm 20 again. My confidence level will reach new levels that I haven't seen in a decade. Quest 1: Hit the Gym 3 times a weekThe gym has been my friend since high school. It's there when I need it, and there when I don't go to taunt me about not going. If I go 3 times a week minimum, I'm pretty sure I can smile and feel better. Not alcohol or drugs thankfully, but food. The convienence of these foods are my downfall. I want these two types of food to be erased from my vocabulary and be written as myths that do not exist. Side Quest 1: Go for a run/walk in the morning before work.I've been getting better sleep, so I go to bed earlier, and wake up earlier. I will use the extra time before work to run or walk. Side Quest 2: Ride my bike more oftenThis goes with Quest 1 and 2. I ride my bike to the gym to work out and run. Motivation: Friends, Family, The girl(whoever she may be in the future). I've had a lot of friends follow my progress of working out, running, trends that I've taken on. I want to encourage everyone to not only follow what I do, but to see them commit to it and be healthy themselves. Life Quest: Finish my story and create the website to go with it.I'm currently in the process of writing a screenplay with a friend of mine. I've never taken on something like this before, I want to finish the screenplay, and start filming.
