  1. Recently, I finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender all the way through for the first time. I'M IN LOVE!! It's so good!!! And, there are many wise characters who say many wise things, the chiefest among them probably being the beloved Uncle Iroh. He inspires me to look inward and try to be a better person. So I decided, since A:tLA is my current favorite media, that will be my theme of sorts for the challenge. I don't know how much I will hold to it thematically, but perhaps it will inform some of my choices and introspections. Last challenge, I sort of fell off the map after a couple weeks. The weather got extremely cold, and I got a few weeks of the Blues™️ , and I was sleeping quite poorly, and all this made it very hard to do anything at all. Though, it's worth noting that I think that was the longest I had actively participated in a NF challenge in a long time! And even though I didn't make it through the entire challenge, I am proud of what I did accomplish. The only way to fail is to stop trying, so I will keep trying! Since the weather is still quite frigid, I will be putting my walk-to-mordor quest on hold until it's more pleasant outdoors. Instead, I want to take up bodyweight exercise or yoga from the comfort of Indoors. I think I will start with a goal of 3 times per week, choosing one of those things to do on each of the three days. And since my physical goals are bodyweight exercises and yoga, and I'm also heavily focused on my mindset surrounding various things, this challenge I will be multiclassing as a ranger and a druid. ☺️ I want to become stronger, more flexible, and more physically fit in an attempt to make my resting heart rate a healthier number (it's kind of high), and hopefully decrease the aches and pains I have from merely existing. I also admittedly want to lose weight, but that's been quite tricky for my mental health lately, so I'm trying to not think about that aspect of things very much. If I treat my body in a healthier way, my weight will settle wherever it settles.
  2. Hello Assassins, I'm back!!! Well, actually... I'm in Uganda... But I think I've emerged from my recent rage stress spiral. Also, my internet access is surprisingly good (except apparently, I'm unable to post gifs.... Grrrrrr)? So, it's time to resume my badassery... And who better to learn from than the Dragon of the West? Uncle Iroh and his wisdom will be my guide! Main Quest - Resilient and Radiant "No! Zuko! You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength." I'll talk more about this during the challenge, but my mental strength and spiritual health are my focus. My healthy choices will continue to rebuild me into the awesome badass woman that I am meant to be. "You can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you keep moving, you will come to a better place." Moving - enjoy some type of movement every day for at least two minutes "A man needs his rest." Rest - electronics off for 60 minutes before bed "Sick of tea? That's like being sick of breathing." Tea and Breathing - tea is an opportunity to mindfully enjoy one of my favorite things
