First and foremost, I know and understad that when attending class at a dojang/dojaun, it is disrespectful to wear a uniform other than that school's. With this in mind, I intend to always have a blank uniform on hand for any occassion. However, due to how my life is going to move over the next few years, I will not likely be able to stay at the same dojaun for more than a year at most, but I intend to compete in tournaments as often as I possibly can. (My goal is to one day win one category in the International Martial Arts Festival at Disney World ESPN in Florida.) When competing in tournaments, as they are (from what I understand) an indvidual competition, is it innapropriate to wear a uniform bearing your own personal logo? I designed one that represents my four favorite symbols for defending dreams and possibilities (eevee, the dream eater spirit symbol from KH 3D, the Minecraft Pickaxe, and the War Doctor's sonic screw driver). I do not want to offend anyone, and if need be, will keep the uniform until I am able to reach a level where it is apprpriate, but I wanted to ask because in the Spring, while my school from right now will be competing, and I will return to it in the summer, I won't be attached for the months surrounding the competition. Any one know the appropriate etiquette?
