Here is my 4-week challenge for January of 2017. This year I plan on doing some amazing things! I spent over two hours working on my goals for this year. That top one is insane. Kouhaku is the biggest music show in all of Japan. It's on NHK every New Year's Eve. Watching the 2016 one got me all excited and thinking that I could totally be on that stage. I must be outta my mind but I'm going to go for it anyway. First step is to create my act. Let's get everything we want in 2017!

I'm reading Level Up Your Life and I've written some things down as I go: Quotes I like, my origin story, and some of my epic quests of awesomeness. I'd like to share with you my legendary quests and also my personal crises because who else am I going to share them with? And I'd like to hear your advice. My Legendary Quests 01. Play a packed concert at MAGfest 02. Make a walking simulator game with a mech 03. Release a wildly popular game music album (remix or original, it matters not) 04. Get ripped 05. Take one of those "sexy gamer" photo shoots with little clothing and lots of controllers to solidify my title as "Sexiest Otaku in All the Realm." 06. Play a major role in a TV show or movie with a medieval setting. 07. Quit my job! 08. Make an RPG. 09. Produce a wildly popular podcast. 10. Acquire my own studio space to have my game setup, music recording setup, and cameras for making any fun thing I want without worrying about being too loud. Truly, a person who accomplishes all of those things would be legendary, wouldn't they? Now of all the things on that list, I know exactly which one I want first. #7! I want to quit my job more than anything. My dream is to make things that are great, people consume them, and I get paid. The Patreon model is one approach. Making CDs and selling them myself is another. But of course, it's hard to get popular in those arenas. I normally wouldn't care that it's hard but then a guy whom I respect a lot suggested that I might be doing things for the wrong reasons. He suggests that if I'm ever doing something and expecting a monetary reward, it's not the thing I really want to be doing and thusly should not be doing. But if I really just do whatever I want and expect nothing in return, I would probably just play games all the time. I made a metal album that was a thing that I wanted to make but I also want to get paid for it. That's one of the sources of my doubts. But I REALLY want to quit my job. My name is Zoltan. I live in Japan. I love console RPGs. I have a day job I'd like to quit and a daughter With whom I spend a lot of time? Im quite out of shape. I want to change my life. I found the book Level Up Your Life and have just started reading it. I checked out the information in the back and found out about the rebelłion. I have three extremely extremely extremely difficult goals that I want to accomplish with you all. 1. Find out what I can and should do with my life. It's the most difficult of all goals in my opinion. If you know exactly what you want to do or should be doing, you are blessed. I have many hobbies and activities that I would call my passions, but I doubt myself in whether or not there is any value in doing those things, and being aware of my doubt leads me to believe that those things aren't my passions. If they are truly my passions, why would I have doubts about doing them? 2. Become the sexiest otaku in all the realm. I have decided that no matter what I end doing with my life, being extraordinarily muscular and good looking will help me along the way. I have actually made some progress on my own. I made up my own aerobics routine called the Level-99 Workout and have changed my diet up somewhat and have managed to lose 11kg./22lbs. But I have hit a very long plateau because I freaking love food. 3. Quit my job! Once I have achieved goal #1, I want to make it into something great and do it for my livelihood. Once I've achieved this goal, I shall no longer be Zoltan, but The Legendary Zoltan. I look forward to making friends and achievements with everyone here.
