Bran wargs back in time to be the night king. It also might explain some parts of the battle on the frozen lake... basically he knew they would be there, he let them take one of the wights, and knew Danny was coming with the dragons and hence he had only three of those ice spears. But why would Bran want the night king to get a dragon and take down the wall? Or, it seems he might no longer be bran but is the three eyed raven/night king... and he's working to destroy westeros on behalf of the children of the forest...? But he seems genuinely interested in promoting Jon as the heir to the iron throne/hero of the war. Also, how is Dany going to react to find out that Jon is the true heir to the iron throne... and also her nephew. She's worked her ass off to get back and claim the throne only to hand it over to an heir who probably doesn't want it. And Cersei is clearly among the epically evil. She's at least as bad as the night king. I like Jaime again. I think we all (mostly) want Dany and Jon to fall in love, defeat the night king and rule Westeros with justice, but... I can totally see everything going tits up as Cersei solidifies her power in the south, Jon gets a big head over his right to the throne causing a falling out with Dany, and while they're all fighting amongst each other, the night king moves in and destroys everything... because people couldn't put their bullshit aside for the greater good. 2 Quote ===================================================================================================== --Stronkey Kong-- Link to comment

I'm not buying it yet either. There are a lot of holes in the theory. Plus bran needs weir Woods to warg into the past and cant just warg into anyone, anywhere, anytime. I think if there's any connection, Bran is really just keeping an eye on him and trying to figure him out. In addition to anticipated reunions I've also enjoyed the new character meet ups. The banter between Thormund and the hound was fun. The sparring match between Arya and Brienne. And hopefully season eight will give us the other anticipated, gotta see it sex scene... I did okay about half the time staying hungry enough and made it from 249 down to 247 pounds at the lowest. About halfway to my goal of 245. I went on two adventures. One to the state fair, then one misadventure dealing with my shitty car and made the best of walking around the neighborhood. I sweat very little. In fact not much at all. I didn't finish any paintings. I was off to a good start, then the car problems started and I had to get a bunch of overtime to pay that off. But that gave me no time to focus on challenge goals. I also talked to a job recruiter during the challenge. I figured I'd go back into biology and try to get a lab tech job. She was excited about my resume and thought I had good opportunities, but after she talked to get manager they decided I was over qualified for the positions they staff. Meanwhile, I'm under qualified for anything better because I lack experience in a lot of the specific skill sets employers want, or I lack the right degree. Whatever. The car problems also made me miss an interview for a seasonal manager position. It did however get me thinking hard about the rut I'm in. I've made up my mind to go back to school in the spring. My main goal is to get back into art. CallunaTook Posted September 12, 2017 Report Share Posted September 12, 2017 It sounds like you have a done a good job in making lemons into lemonade, and sidetracking into alternative quests seems reasonable to me given the circumstances! Sorry about your car and stuff though... that must have been frustrating. I don't know how it works in Indiana, but in my state (Oklahoma), a lot of science/lab folk get the first foot in the door via working for state agencies. Here, the state agencies take any basic science degree from bachelor's up through grad degrees (no over qualifications, so long as you meet the minimum hiring requirements), and will hire you into an entry lab tech or science specialist position; it is up to you if you want to move up the ladder or just get your feet wet and go somewhere else afterwards. Most people move on after a couple of years. Some of us (like me) like it and stick around for the long haul. Anyhow, if you are still interested in lab tech jobs and similar, you may try science-based Indiana state agencies if you haven't already (environment, agriculture, natural resources, health dept, etc).
