Lilmissbri joins the Game of Thrones

Now, obviously, the ending hasn't happened yet. BUT this probably my favorite show of all time besides Avatar: The Last Airbender (for completely different reasons.... obviously). Season 7 started last month and it's all I can think about these days! So let's make it the theme. Mwahaha.

Aww thank you! I appreciate it as I do put more time than probably necessary to create these challenges. haha!

 

As for my video, the short answer is no.

 

Longer answer is: I keep starting a project and about a quarter way through I think of a different project I wanna make. Plus it's hard to animate something and keep it timely cause it takes so long to animate something! But my goal is to make a video a month. I just have to choose something and stick to it. Not be consumed with style and such cause what the channel is can change as I continue. But I just want it to be so perfect! Haha. I also want to do Game of Thrones reactions but again, animating it, I'm not sure if people would watch a season 7 episode 1 animated reaction a month or so after the episode came out. So that's just the plates I'm spinning.

You sound like me... have you ever looked into multipotentialism/scannerism?  I feel that way about my visual art projects...I get really excited by an idea but before it comes to fruition I'm on to the next idea.  At the end of the day, when I have externally motivated projects (requests, commissions, etc.) I get the job done even if it has some imperfections.  When I try to internally motivate myself, I tend to get bogged down before anything gets finished.

 

  And yes, you are spinning a lot of plates (but doing a pretty damn good job of it going off of your challenges).

Week 0 Day 2 - Beginnings - Tuesday, August 8th 2017

Become No One ~ Fitness - Completed Day 1 of the challenge. A few breaks and "falling down" but it's just the beginning of my progress. (1/14)

Goal: Complete this 14 day pilates challenge.

 

Grow a Dragon ~ Diet - Drank 3 bottles of water and had broccoli with my dinner. (4/4)

Goal: Drink 3 bottles of water and serve dinner with veggies every day.

Bonus: New paleo recipes I actually like to make and eat.

 

Fight to Be Better ~ Level Up Your Life - Read a BonBlast email, sent one to classes, updated my voices profile, waiting patiently for results of audition, thought about animated schedule, sent email for AD project, listened to the Bonnie call that was today, wrote about specific goals that I want to pursue. 

Goal: Update Voices profile, finish Self-Management for Actors, plan out animated video schedule.

Bonus: Complete 5 or more auditions per day.

 

Converse with the One True God ~ Spirit - Started a new devotion plan and completed the first day. (1/5)

Goal: Complete the 5 Day Reading Plan and go to church every Sunday.

Week 0 Day 4 - Wednesday, August 9th 2017

Become No One ~ Fitness - Completed Day 2 of the challenge. A 20 minute cardio routine and then the pilates workout for 15 minutes. Color me dead. Lots of breaks were made, that goes without saying. Also, I have decided I hate my lower abs. They have never been as flat as I wanted them to be (except during my High School basketball days) and I want them flat, gosh darn it! (2/14)

Goal: Complete this 14 day pilates challenge.

 

Grow a Dragon ~ Diet - Drank 4 bottles of water and binged on supreme tacos and cinnabuns from Taco Bell. I heard back from my audition and didn't get the part. Today was my day of mourning which includes junk food. Still came in under my calorie count though. Amazingly. (7.5/8)

Goal: Drink 3 bottles of water and serve dinner with veggies every day.

Bonus: New paleo recipes I actually like to make and eat.

 

Fight to Be Better ~ Level Up Your Life - Read a chapter of SMFA, wrote out my specific wand induced/wish making future and the feeling that would have, worked on animated video channel (possible names, projects, tone).

Goal: Update Voices profile, finish Self-Management for Actors, plan out animated video schedule.

Bonus: Complete 5 or more auditions per day.

 

Converse with the One True God ~ Spirit - Completed the second day. (2/5)

But the TL:DR is that you specifically write what would be your dream if you had a magic wand. Specifically. So that every choice now can lead you there and that way you know exactly what your striving for. What that feels like.

Yeah, of course man. That's what these forums are for, yeah? Haha. Of course it's complete focused on acting but you could definitely use it toward any goals/passions.

 

BTW, I looked into multipotentialism/scannerism. I watched the Ted Talk that talks about multipotentialites: LINK (just in case). I thought it was really interesting but I'm not sure if I do fall into that category. I do have many passions (voice acting, animation, gaming, streaming, reading, ASL, etc) but I do know that Voice Acting is where I want to specialize and make a career. I like how you explained it where personal projects seems to fizzle after working on them to fruition where commissions always get done even with slight imperfections. That I relate to whole heartedly. I just didn't see that as Emilie Wapnick described multipotentialite. But I really liked the talk and it's a really interesting idea. What I liked most is that diving head long into a project or passion isn't worthless if you quit because you talk that information to the next project/passion.

That was my take-away.  I'm thinking of dovetailing it with the concept put forth in Never Eat Alone (you create a short list of people who can help you achieve your goals...and then figure out who can introduce you to those people...).

 

I also don't really identify as a multipotentialite (even though I too have diverse interests -- like seriously -- who doesn't want to do all the things?) but agree with you on the last point and the broader concept that all of our experiences grow us in some way even if we lose interest or find that nugget of value and move on.

Haha! You didn't hijack it at all! I like branching off and actually talking with you peeps instead of just a string of Today: I worked out. Today: I ate junk food. Haha. I get much more energize and such talking to you kids about whatever. So no worries!! :)

Become No One ~ Fitness - Completed Day 3 of the challenge. Today was a “rest” day of sorts. Pilates and then a yoga session. Definitely focused way more on technique than “we’re going to do 16 of these. Come on! You can do it!” because when I do 16 I completely lose my core. I felt a lot better about the whole exercise. (3/14)

Goal: Complete this 14 day pilates challenge.

 

Grow a Dragon ~ Diet - Drank 2.5 bottles of water and had some lettuce with my dinner. (11/12)

Goal: Drink 3 bottles of water and serve dinner with veggies every day.

Bonus: New paleo recipes I actually like to make and eat.

 

Fight to Be Better ~ Level Up Your Life - Still in mourning but feel a lot more positive and ready to take on obstacles. As is my pattern. One day to cry and then time to pony up, Sally. I am still super thankful and blessed to of gotten that audition and I now have a contact to keep up with every couple months. Could turn out into something better.

Become No One ~ Fitness - Completed Day 4 of the challenge. I am so exhausted. Ha. Also, I discovered a new app which I fell in love with. Only been using it for a couple of hours but I like it more than my previous one as it seems to have no adds. MyNetDiary. Very good for tracking calories, exercise, and water consumption. (4/14)

Goal: Complete this 14 day pilates challenge.

 

Grow a Dragon ~ Diet - Drank 3 bottles of water and had some lettuce with my dinner, again. Also went over my calorie limit by a bit. Darn it. (14.5/16)

Fight to Be Better ~ Level Up Your Life - Auditioned, made a tentative schedule for animation (we shall see how it goes), started a new project (I know) and created all the characters with proper layers and labels. Yesterday, I get the audio down and so all I have to do is animate. Haha.

Week 1 Day 3 - Monday, August 14th 2017

Become No One ~ Fitness - Finished half of Day 5. In fact I had a bit of a break down. The biggest thing I want to change is my stomach. I want a flat stomach with some definition. Right now it's a protruding stomach that makes me have anxiety that I might be pregnant. This pilates challenge really works those lower abs/core work which I'm finding out I am increasingly weak at. The one thing I hate is being weak. So this is very challenging, not only physically but mentally. So I didn't make it through the 20 minute weight loss yoga that I was supposed to do today. She started doing side plank dips. Seeing as my second weakest subject are my arms. I was done. Stormed off to the shower and called it a day. *sigh* (4.5/14)

Goal: Complete this 14 day pilates challenge.

 

Grow a Dragon ~ Diet - Drank 3 bottles of water and had a salad with my dinner. Also ate under the calorie limit, but I did have two desserts. Hmmmm. (28.5/31)

Fight to Be Better ~ Level Up Your Life - Auditioned for an indie video game, went through a script of a current project, made notes, asked questions, emailed client, messaged an old friend, updated my Bullseye Your Bookings, read a chapter of SMFA, started animation on this project that I will finish. I've decided I'm going to almost story board the whole thing and get all my "sets" together. Then animate from there. Should be way easier than what I was doing before. So this is going to take the most time. Like today I did one "set" and it took me about 4 hours. *sigh*

Goal: Update Voices profile, finish Self-Management for Actors, plan out animated video schedule.

Bonus: Complete 5 or more auditions per day.
