Hi... I'm new here.

I'm a 30yr old 130kg, 5"11 Canadian dude. I want to get to 90kg and learn how to dance swing by this time next year!

I've never exercised before... so I'm taking it one step at a time.
Have been walking 10mins a day, also I'm eating a salad with every meal now instead of just more of whatever the meal was.
Next week my plan is to try the beginner body weight workout and maybe join the Academy...

 

Life goal is to learn how to interact with people. Starting with this post.
I may have some issues so that's not as easy as it sounds... Honestly, that's the bit that scares the crap out of me.

Good luck with the health and fitness goals - I can only say u are on the right path. Little and often for a long time  beats a little tempest in a teacup. 

 

re your fears with interaction, u did the nike thing already so i wouldn't worry. Keep your 20seconds fear removal booster close and use it from time to time!

Welcome to the Rebellion!

 

Swing dancing is a great medium-term goal! Now you just have to figure out how to get there. Your plan of making walking and good diet a regular habit, then checking out exercises sounds like a good start to me.

 

I don't post much either - I can never think of what to say, and then I don't know if what I said sounds stupid. At least on my own challenge thread I am mostly talking to myself. You are not alone with the social awkwardness (even online).
