GOAL ONE: Veronica Lodge

Veronica certainly has the moves. And I want to keep on moving.

 

 

GOAL TWO: Kevin Keller

Keep lifting. Kettlebells 3 times a week

Kevin aptly notices that over the summer, Archie may have gotten a little bit of muscle.

Maybe if I keep lifting, someone will exclaim “Kat got HOT!” at me out the window of Pop’s…

 

 

GOAL THREE: Jughead Jones

Track calories and macros - stay within a 4% variance with macros of 30% fat and protein, 40% carbs 5 out of 7 days a week.

It’s about balance, right? We can’t all stuff our faces with burgers like Jughead and remain metabolically sound.


 

GOAL FOUR: Cheryl Blossom

Stretch hip, legs, and shoulders for 15 minutes twice a week.
Cheryl is fantastic as stretching the truth and manipulation, which is why she’s the mascot for my stretching goal.


 

SIDE QUEST: Archie Andrews

Practice guitar 30 minutes a week.

Archie chases his dream of being a musician, no matter what. He’s my role model for this goal. I miss it; and I need more time doing what I love.

GOAL ONE :: Run 3x Per Week
 

Week 0 - Monday - I got up and ran -- which was a lot easier than last week. Mostly because I was so exhausted from everything in the previous week that I slept nearly 12 hours. I'm getting used to running in the dark. So far I've seen the harvest full moon, scared a deer, and got yipped at by a scared fox.


GOAL TWO :: Kettlebells 3x Per Week

 

Week 0 - Monday - Not today.

 

GOAL THREE :: Macros Within a 4% Variance 5 out of 7 days
 

Week 0 - Monday - I actually did this! I decided to change to a 4% variance because if I am of by 3% in two areas, the best I can do is 4% in the other, because math. So instead of setting myself up to fail over and over by a hair, we're going with a 4% variance. ALSO this included a glazed old fashioned donut which are probably my favorite thing in the world.


GOAL FOUR :: Stretch 15 Minutes 2x Per Week
 

Week 0 - Monday - I meant to when I got home, but I set out on an anger cleaning binge because I started one things, realized how much everything else needed to be cleaned, and then tried not to murder my husband when he got home (because he DID bring me a donut).


SIDE QUEST :: Practice Guitar 30 Minutes 1x Per Week

 

Week 0 - Monday - Mot likely will get to this Wednesday? It needs to be restrung SO BAD and tuned like crazy. Maybe my birthday present to myself next week will be to take it in to get it restrung after like 10 years...

I knew the basics. In that... Archie was a comic. Set in Riverdale. 

 

I still enjoyed it :)

Goals are not SMART without being specific and measurable.  Instead, it is just ART, which paints a pretty picture, but is subjective to the observer.  Great challenge!  Looking forward to the "hot" results!

GOAL TWO :: Kettlebells 3x Per Week

 

Week 0 - Tuesday - Monday - Yes -- I made three rotating pyramids to d through out the week. It was upper body day!

 

GOAL THREE :: Macros Within a 4% Variance 5 out of 7 days
 

Week 0 - Tuesday - I just barely missed it -- but that's cause my SIL made Annie's Mac and Cheese for dinner. Just bit low on protein for the day. And my duh moment was that I am more hungry on days I miss my protein goal.


GOAL FOUR :: Stretch 15 Minutes 2x Per Week
 

Week 0 - Tuesday - I super meant to. But I think I will get this done Saturday and Sunday at the cabin where I can just hang out and relax a bit more.

Week 0 - Tuesday - Yes -- and nearly died of a heart attack when I heart a rabbit and it startled me. It's so quiet in the morning.


GOAL TWO :: Kettlebells 3x Per Week

 

Week 0 - Tuesday - Not today.

 

GOAL THREE :: Macros Within a 4% Variance 5 out of 7 days
 

Week 0 - Tuesday - I just barely missed it again, but I knew this would be the hardest area for me. I'm a carb fiend. And I love cheese. And the habit of tracking and being aware of that is something I need again (hence the challenge!)

They aren't -- the CW show took an edgier, darker tone, based on the characters in the comics and Riverdale. The whole show is about Jason Blossom's murder (in the first season).
