First day of the challenge! Who's ready? Excited? Nervous? All of the above???

Whoohoo! I'm definitely ready. I took this past week "off" to sort of see how I felt going back to more of a "how I used to be" thing, and I've missed my new habits! I am maybe slightly more nervous than I was last time, which makes no sense at all, but there ya have it.

I would say, if you want these things to be long term habits, Maybe just keep those up on the 0 week. or you could do what some of us do and never take a zero week.

Personally, I create my habits to be things I plan on doing for the long long term. AKA:  Clean the table off before bed. Hopefully I do this the rest of my life nad the table is never dirty in the morning again, but I would be happy at this point to not have it be dirty between now and christmas. So I just keep working on my habits and add new ones each challenge. But it is also what works for you.

Good luck

Ta-daaaa! The Mini is up and running.

@Bean Sidhe, it should be accessible to you given your goals, but no pressure.

@Hazard If you get a minute, could you pin it for us?

I just saw it. And I am in. Hopefully I can be of some help. I am only going to log water consumption, and not the tea and water...

That's certainly the idea eventually. I started doing these challenge though because they do kind of give my brain a break from being so strict in between. This particular time I was especially lax as sort of an experiment and I'm happy to report that I didn't really stray too far on the diet aspect. (I'm new to NF but I've been gradually eating better for about a year. Actually, exactly a year! Just realized I did my first Whole30 of the current era starting a year ago today! I did one several years before but all those benefits were long gone by last year.)

Well, Diet changes not withstanding since some people may be more strict during a challenge where their goal is to lose rather than maintain. But like my cleaning habits I hope to have for a very long long time.

Congrats that your mini-experiment went so well. I know I am always glad when I kinda shut down from challenge mode and when I return I see I haven't slid too far from where I want to be.

1) Introduce yourself

2) Say your favourite thing about the forums

3) Tell us your favourite meal, cheat or otherwise

4) Share a gif (hi, or that best describes your favourite childhood story)

1. Mahalak here. NF is my 2017 New Year's Resolution incarnate. I might have missed one challenge since.

2. I've had more interaction here than I have on any other forum of this type. It is good to know someone really is out there - makes a huge difference!

3. I often have "what would your last meal be?" discussions. Right now, I am so into BBQ. Does dry rub = all protein?! ;)

4. Superheroes helped make me who I am!
