Rab397 - Training on Lian Yu

Arrow training

 

The Arrow is one of my big inspirations. How olliver queen, no good play boy, rich kid and party boy became one of the strongest superheroes by just training is an inspiration.
So since had a big gap since last time it is time to start again.
I will pick up my training, continue where i left off and this time beat my personal demon.

 

My training will exist of 2 parts.
Strength and Endurance.

The strength part will be done in the gym following one of their programs.
I will HAVE to go to the gym 2 times a week and finish the workout.

 

The endurance part will also be done in the gym.
This will consists of increasing my running speed on the treadmill. 
At this point i am at 8 KM/h for 15 minutes, as soon as i reach 10km/h i will start working on increasing the running time.
The goal is 3 times a week, but 2 times is accepted. 
Less then 2 is not.

 

As an extra motivation i will have to track my food intake except in the weekends.
I will use my fitbit to know if i ate to much or not.
I will make a daily post here where i lett people know if i made it or not.

UPDATE TIME

 

Today went well. I had cravings later on the day but i still had some calories left so i made a small bowl of pasta with some grated cheese.
I am also working on increasing my running speed. Today i ran 15 minutes with a speed of 9km/h slowly working to the ten.

I WILL BE THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE!

Also the girlfriend is gone on a camp with her 4th graders.
That means binging NARCOS

If you aren't already you should follow @jonfirestar he has made some super impressive progress with his running. But beware he seems a bit "stubborn" (in the best way possible!!!)

I saw his challenge come by, definetly checking it out! Runners need to stick together :P

At this point i am at episode 7 of season 1 but i did this in a day.

Stubborn, belligerent but stoically consistent :D I'll take the complement even if I do end up running myself into the ground from time to time.

W0 D3

TOday was an intense day. I had to start the day at 6 AM and was busted up with DOMS because of yesterdays running. After quite literally roling out of bed i got up only to discover one of the kitties threw up on the couch ( THE JOY ). After cleaning that up i prepped my lunch for school and made breakfast. A slice of bread with Vlokken (mr willes and Terah will know).

After this i had to drive to the train station and go to my teaching internship.  When arriving there i observed my internship partner at teaching her 7th grade. After that i prepped my own lessons for next week. Once done it was my time to teach the 10th grade. THE JOY OF 10TH GRADERS WITH ADD AND ONLY HISTORY LESSONS LEFT. Goddamit those kids were loud, but fun.

 

On my way back the public transport was deayed by thirtheen minutes so i missed all my connecting trains. Finaly when i was home i got my ass to the gym and completed 3/4 of my planned workout. i did hit a personal record at the monkey bars.

After that i had dinner and a beer to wash it away.

Today was okay
