Mistr
What type of exercise are you doing in the morning? I used to do a lot of floor work in the morning. I could pretend that I was not awake because I was lying on a mat on the floor, regardless of how much work I was doing with my legs and core. It does take some time to get set up and put stuff away. Showering and getting dressed ought to come out the same with or without exercise first. Sounds like you need to set up caches of food to get you through the week. Can you have things delivered to work? If you can't find a local grocery that delivers, there is always Amazon. Quote Level 71 Viking paladin My current challenge Battle log Link to comment

I've ripped this DVD to audio and have it on my phone. Doesn't require thought or equipment, and it's a mix I feel pretty good after. It's five or six sets of six 30-second intervals, mix of strength and cardio. About 23 minutes total. Punches, kicks, plank, horse stance, some more complicated stuff. 6 hours ago, Mistr said: Sounds like you need to set up caches of food to get you through the week. I normally don't eat much before 4. Now I could eat the whole day's food before noon and want a snack at 3. It stands to reason that you will be hungry at different times. In the abstract, eating most of your calories early in the day with a snack later makes sense. It even fits with your IF strategy. The only strange part is that how you feel changed so quickly. Quote Level 71 Viking paladin My current challenge Battle log Link to comment

Mistr
I'm halfway through Moon Over Soho. Lots of fun, although I'm being cautious about reading it before bed. Too many gruesome things happening. I can see that Peter's love life is going to cause problems. Quote Level 71 Viking paladin My current challenge Battle log Link to comment

sarakingdom
Yesterday was a fail in challenge terms, but a success in broader terms, and I feel I sorta got some in the challenge goals approximated. But still technically a fail. 42 minutes ago, Kishi said: But it is necessary. Sometimes that's enough. Hopefully I can make it not to tedious to do. Tedium is a challenge-killer. sarakingdom
I've gained a few pounds back this challenge. This might be a side effect of recovering from undereating, but I think it's more likely that there's been some carb creep, and I've hit an average that doesn't work well for me. I haven't been as careful lately; definitely lowish carb, but not keto levels of low carb. I think, sadly, the peanut butter has got to go. And I think IF has to come back. I do better on it. Which is annoying, because I'm hungry at weird times of day lately. I'm too lazy to cook lately, so I've been batch cooking. I can eat for a few days, at least. It's not exciting food, but it's fine. Shove some meat and vegetables into the pot, bulk food comes out. 2 Quote I felt like I could run forever, like I could smell the wind and feel the grass under my feet, and just run forever. sarakingdom
I had two very good days this week, and two where my brain was not functioning in a serious way. Eh, whatever.
