it is similar! it sounds like people make a blend with the coca to make you less sleepy when you take it. i did not end up taking it but she's letting me keep it. she explains it like a heart opening fun awareness time and has the best yoga sessions after taking some. am i painting a pretty clear picture of this coworker? LOL

Save it for a rainy day. :D

And mannn, sorry you are feeling so lousy lately! Hope you are able to have fun at the wedding and on the Cape, regardless!

actually started feeling better about halfway through the day. I was experiencing some tingling sensations down my right leg and into my foot by the end of the day though. wtf. Called my sister who’s studying med and she said I pointed to exactly the area that relates to the L4 vertebrae or something. She then asked if I had gone to the gym recently and I admitted to the above… sensation is gone this morning but I’m off any non-supported back work for a week. did some yoga stuff but didn’t time it. I’ll conservatively say 5 mins.

Oh noooes you have all the stuff! Hope the GI stuff gets sorted. And yeah, that sounds like lumbar/SI mish. You probs know these, they did wonders for my sciatica...

Week 0 – Friday

walk in AM. work was a crazy show. left early for a wedding. that was also a crazy show but I got in lots of dancing even if no one else was. didn’t make my fiber goal probably bc of estimated wedding meal macros. I ate all of the veggies, some of the potatoes, and some of the prime rib. I logged a prime rib dinner plate but the fiber macro was empty so maybe I came close to 30g?

pull ups: 2

yoga: 35

walking: 3.09mi

fiber: 19g

lift: 1

Week 0 – Saturday

Saturday was a day of relaxing and not really caring about what I was eating. for the most part that meant bread and cheese. bfast was a bagel with cream cheese, lunch was grilled cheese w/ tomato, snacks were beers and cheez-its, and dinner was spinach/artichoke dip with tortilla chips hahahaha

it was really nice to just set some stuff aside, walk along the beach, get the doggo actually swimming for once, and watch old movies until 2am.

hahaha, you weren't kidding. Also, bread is life, sooooo.

Last week I told Mr T he was the best thing since bread and he said "not, sliced bread?". Uh, no, all bread and wheat products in general are amazing.

Week 1 – Sunday

breakfast and dinner was delicious diner food. lunch was a chicken curry salad with veggies but I think those veggies were all the fiber I got in. walks on the beach continued. and lots of meal prep. I made nomnom’s chicken stew again and then I switched up my egg casserole to try and get more fiber this week.

I did @Taddea Zhaan's oatmeal bake with less eggs! add-ins were pumpkin, craisins, and macadamia nuts. really good. could use more pumpkin spice or cinnamon next time though.

fiber: 13g

Week 1 – Monday

went for a 2 mile run outside! it was surprisingly really refreshing. I think I’m just happy to be back doing things more than yoga. took it really slow though, so 25 mins total.

doctor appt happened and I really like the guy. working on some possible solutions to get my tract back in order without having to do anything invasive. he also doesn’t think the kidney results are far enough off to be worrisome.

I did hang for a minute and do 10mins of yoga. I was going to make a stir fry for dinner with all the vegs my mom gave me but then I realized that I had all the ingredients to try out Julia Child’s eggplant pizzas. so I did. and they did NOT disappoint.

I did end up stir frying some ground pork and peppers as well to up dat protein.

burpees: 0/70

abz: 0/1

fiber: 34g/30g

lift/run: 1

pull ups: 1/5

yoga: 10/60

This is a really smart idea. I'm thinking about making a pumpkin spice version and adding shredded or diced apple. I went ahead bought canned pumpkin yesterday (after I read this). Actually, when I got to the freezer section I saw that pre-cooked frozen squash was actually cheaper than the canned pumpkin. I might try that sometime.

reaaaaallllyyyy? i do buy the giant cans of pumpkin though so price per pound might be similar. then i freeze the leftover pumpkin in my little silicone cube trays.
