Week 1 – Tuesday

back to the gym! stayed annoyingly light. what is this gif? idk.

at work:

1 plank @ 75s

wall sit @ 60s

 

did the abs PVP video when I got home and then 10 mins of foam rolling/yoga. calves are already tight from the work at the gym.

 

folded laundry then made a quick broccoli/chicken sausage stir fry for dins. just barely missed my fiber goal. probably because I switched out my apples for pastries that were in the work kitchen… oopsie. yeah would have got 10g instead of the 3g from baked goods. lesson learned!

i actually did well yesterday! i employed an old challenge goal i had to eat all of my own snacks before diving into anything work was providing :D that did mean i ended up having 3 reese's cups and an almond joy but.. ya know... i got my fiber in first!

i don't want y'all to get the wrong idea... i replaced my snack of apples WITH bread products lol it was a cranberry muffin and a multigrain bagel... still pretty enjoyable i must say.

Week 1 – Wednesday

23 min yoga session in the morning. of course I picked a video that gloriously spotlighted all my yoga weaknesses. squaring your hips while balancing is pretty much the worst. then I did my 10 burpees. also started my daily magnesium.

 

at work:

2 planks @ 75s

wall sit @ 60s

boat pose @ 60s

 

went out with coworkers as a going away party for one of them – actually the kava coca woman! she’s going off to do her thing so I’m really happy for her. I had 2 vodka drinks, some lightly breaded cauliflower, and a few calamari rings. I did do my 1 min of bar hanging when I got home.

another 2 mi run outside! this time in 23 mins.

I ate a lot yesterday! mostly good things… 4 pieces of candy. but got fiber and 124g protein too. did yoga, bar hangs and burpees when I got home. also got a load of laundry in the wash! Pro. Duc. Tive.

woke up super early to get up to maine for a river float trip! i finished off my burpees, yoga, and bar hangs before leaving though :D

 

ate pretty well but also consumed a bunch of alcohol. like. A BUNCH. may have gotten more fiber than 17g but i know i at least got that much. it was a perfect day for river floating and relaxing by the fire in the evening.

gunna keep my week 2 goals similar to week 1!

 

WEEK TWO

  1. PVPs: 10 burpees/day until wednesday and abs PVP
  2. stomach issues. take magnesium, eat at least 30g fiber from food per day.
  3. lift and run. 5K is in 6 days. so continue with light weights and a couple running seshs.
  4. yoga and hangs. aim for 60m/week yoga and 5m/week hanging on the pull up bar

 

9/29: dress shopping

9/30outfit and dress shopping

10/1NH 5K

10/7friend’s wedding

10/13 – 10/16Acadia Nat’l Park camping

 

 

Week 2 – Sunday

 

a whole lot of lounging and traveling. no fitnessy things happened. unpacked and went grocery shopping when we got home. got chipotle for linner. cleaned up around the house. made the oatmeal bake for bfasts this week. and I did get at least 30g of fiber in, so that’s something.

Week 2 – Monday

 

did some yoga and 20 burpees in the morning. switched to whole psyllium husk fiber and it was kind of gross in my coffee. will probably use it for maybe some baking and get the psyllium pills instead. blech.

 

after work I did a bit more yoga, bar hanging, and took my magnesium. made a big match of chili in the pressure cooker. it was deeeeelicious. need to get to sleep earlier tonight. catching up on OitNB which is keeping me up later than I should be.

that sounds v. gross. and i agree with your verdict. best not to ruin perfectly good coffee when you can just take it another way. I've tried two supplements IN coffee and both times I said F this, it's not worth it. the first time was the miralax in the coffee (it's supposed to be tasteless!) and the second thing was vanilla protein powder.

yumm chili! is it finally cold where you are? our hot streak is supposed to end tomorrow. 

 

We watched the latest season of OiNB, definitely still keeps you on your toes.

haha yessss! i am a pro powder coffee enthusiast but not so much so the psyllium husk. jeez louis. also tried it in just water this morning. EW.

no! it's not! but i'm totally okay with that and will take all the hot weather anytime of the year plz thanks. i just had a bunch of 90% ground beef to batch cook and chili is easy :D plus all that good fiber ;)
