Preparing for the Sprint

I’ve been off work for a month. I’ll be going back to a phased return this in a week’s time, and I am exhausted, scared and nauseated. But I need to pay the mortgage. While I go back to work, I’m running my first group for my online business: desperate to sustain myself without relying on my dayjob income. And then I'm preparing for NaNoWriMo too. This may be a mistake.

 

So I’m doing the VERY LIGHTEST CHALLENGE I can. Four and a bit weeks, since it’s Thursday now of “week 0”.

 

Focus on the Level Ups ~ Business: 

- Keep on top of my group without ruining my mental health.

1 point a week


Training for Battle ~ Workouts: 

- Shivanata, Yoga or Strength (ideally 1 of each)

3 points a week


Write the Logs ~ Words: 

- Fiction work: /2,084

7 points a week

 

Re-connect ~ Meditate or Read: 

-          4 times a week, in any ratio.

4 points a week
 

(= 15 points per week) 

 

Let's do this.

So the internet went down Friday-Tuesday, and my MH went down this morning so keeping it brief:
 

Week 0:

Focus on the Level Ups :: 1/1
Training for Battle :: 2/3

Write the Logs :: 7/7

Re-connect :: 4/4 - Finished a book!

 

Week 1, Days 1-3:

Focus on the Level Ups :: 1/1
Training for Battle :: 1/3

Write the Logs :: 3/7

Re-connect :: 1/4 - Meditated today.

I feel like I should get bonus points for going to the GP this morning, admitting yesterday's low, and booking a GP call for tomorrow. *sigh* I may have literally said "it's a waste of your time but if my patient told me, I'd encourage them to go to their GP just in case so I better take my own advice."

Today's plan: sleep if needed, eat a banana, and drink plenty of water. Shivanata if I can.

Training for Battle :: 1/3 - Shivanata, stretches and moving some of a dead tree. Feeling the DOMS in my hands and arms 2 hours later >_<

Re-connect :: 2/4 - Read two days in a row.
