Myrik
I got my Monkii Bar this week and will be using them for this challenge. The tactical kit came with a tactical training manual which is a 4 week training with a 5 part challenge at the end. I plan on doing the 4 week training and attempting the Challenge during next months zero week. Goal I: Monkii Tactical Training 2, 3 days a week. Goal II: Track calories again without a limit or goal in mind Goal III: TBD(I don't have anything in mind for this currently but I will have something here before Sunday) Not following last months narrative for this month but the next 2 months October and November will be continuations of the story with some major changes coming in November to correlate with my vacation. 3 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment

Terra
The Monkii system looks fantastic. Its like a portable TRX system, right? Is it stable? Im wondering if it would be good for my hubby who travels a lot... 2 Quote Ranger-Monk Hybrid - Do all the things and lots of BJJ I am a strong little powerhouse Current Challenge: Terra turns 50?!?!? Myrik
The is very portable and very stable for me. First few times doing TRX pushups where very hard because of lack of muscle control. After a while it got easier. The Monkii Bars can be used on almost any door and anywhere you can find a high enough horizontal beam that will support your weight(tree limb, light poll Swing-set etc.) 3 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment

Myrik
Okay so last nights workout was great! My chest is on fire this morning from the fly's. Burpees where a little weird 1 legged but my legs felt great after, it was kind of like pistol squats or shrimp squats. The mountain climbers made my abs burn and i did them in 2 30second sets. 1 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment

Waiting for October 24 so I can experience Destiny 2 and then a month later I am going to Disney world. These workouts have been interesting, working my muscles in ways i didn't know they could. Farther down the path to Monkii Misogi I will be doing longer runs, weighted runs(10 lbs max) more pull ups, squats, and every where in between. 1 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment

I've heard the PC version for Destiny 1 was pretty amazing graphics wise. A lot of folks on the D2 Reddit were talking about the wait being worth it for PC because it'll be so much better lol. Yay for Disney world! I was about to ask when that was coming up. 3 hours ago, Myrik said: These workouts have been interesting, working my muscles in ways i didn't know they could. Myrik
Yesterdays workout was great. My mile run was great 8:37 for the time. Fastest I have run a mile since bootcamp. The rest of the workout was more rough. it called for 4 rounds of 8 Pullups and 8 toe to bar or Knee to chest. and 4 rounds of 8 Dip support knee to chest and 8 dips. The pull ups killed me, I had to break them up into smaller sets to get them done. I did the first 2 rounds unassisted and the last 2 rounds I did on the nautilus gravitron. This morning my shoulders and back are worn out 1 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment
