SOOOOO I was on a grand adventure on the East Coast when this started so I am still trying to figure out what the heck I am doing for this challenge.  I will probably tweak this a bit as we go but my main goal here is:

 

LIFE BALANCE- Make sure I have at least one free evening per week and one weekend day where I have at least 4 hours straight of down time.

 

This..might be a challenge and will be not doable on the week when my show opens buuuut otherwise should be doable! Now to think up a few small measurable goals to complement!

 

Also ...uh... I maybe just agreed to do a second and possibly third show that is going to be overlapping with my rehearsals for the play I'm doing (but the dance we are doing for the one is ALSO going to be in the other if we end up getting that one... director switch drama. Anyway!) Because I am terrible but also because I LOVE DANCING AND I CANT PASS UP A DANCE SHOW. I'm basically going to make half the dance rehearsals for now then transition to making all rehearsal once my play opens in mid-October!

 

+ New goal- Drink more water!!! - I realize I've gotten worse about my water drinking since being on vacation. (I was trying not to drink hoards because access to a public bathroom isn't always available every minute when wandering around doing tourist stuff! And also I hate having to get up to go to the bathoom a ton of times on flights if I can avoid it!) My goal is to: drink 3, 16 oz glasses of water (or about 6 cups of water) at minimum per day. I've been particularly terrible about this on work days, so my specific mini goal for weekdays is to finish my water cup I have on my desk at least once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Ahhahahahhaa....so I realize I gave myself no free evenings this week. Woooooops. But weekend I should be able to relax on Saturday! So at least I am not totally failing. (And Friday is happy hour soooo at least the thing I am doing is something fun! And I get to hang with one of my favoritest people who will be in town that I haven't seen since her wedding back in June. SO EXCITE! Shenanigans shall be had!)

Right?!  But it's so awkward with only a few bathrooms for all the people on the flight and I hate when you have to wait in the aisle for them ugh.

 

And yeah. I'd gotten really good about drinking lots of water especially at work. And then I stopped completely. Like I've barely remembered to drink anything other than hoards of coffee (and energy drinks.... Bad! But also sleepy soo...)

So I sort of kind of accomplished goals-ish for last week. I did not do any unscheduled down time during the weeknights (woops) but I did get some down time on Sunday. I may also have been pretty hungover for said downtime.... hahahahahhahaha. I HAD planned to do nothing and relax all day Saturday, but my friends I was out with on Friday invited me for a pub crawl on Saturday and I don't get to see them enough sooooo... yeah. 2pm to 10ish pm pub crawl. All the beer...and some other things once I was drunk and gave zero Fs and we ended up in a tiki bar that only had mixed drinks. WOOPS. Lots of good food too!  And uhhhh I probably spent close to $100 all in all sooo OOOOPS. But. Good times were had by all!  (And this is with my friends having bought me at least 4 drinks on top of the drinks I bought myself...hahahahaha)

 

Also LAST NIGHT I SAW DEPECHE MODE. LIFE GOALS MET. YAAAAS. Also I am NEVER missing them again next time they come through if I can help it. SOOOO GOOOD. SQUEEEEEEEEEE. (Favorite band since I was a teenager. Have wanted to see them for like 18 years ish).

We have officially reached that part of the rehearsal process where I no longer remember what day it is because I am there almost every day. WHEEEEE. We open a week from tomorrow (Friday the 13th woot woot!) And tonight we do our first full run through...and the playwright will be there. And the play is autobiographical-ish. WHEEEE.

 

I will actually get SOME downtime in though this week! No rehearsal Friday night or Saturday day (and then we don't have a day off for a week but whatever!) Current plan is beer, pajamas, and kitty cuddles! Unless I manage to figure out if either of the guys I am after is single and wants to go on a date or something but I think they are going to be long haul type operations sooooooooooo yeah. And I should probably wait on dates until I have less on my plate anyway but whatever!
