ixaera
Thank yous! Thank yous! I'm super excite! Still! Day 26 boom boom boom challenge almost over Exercise: Bench Press PR day I was really worried I wouldn't make 102. Perhaps OVERLY anxious about it, honestly. Warm up 1x5 45 lbs 1x5 50 lbs 1x3 55 lbs Work 1x5 69.5 lbs 1x3 79 lbs 1x1 88 lbs 1x1 93 lbs 1x1 97.5 lbs 1x1 102 lbs <-- 2 lb PR The rep wasn't great, and it was a slow grind to lock out with a bit of wobble, but it HAPPENED. I also weighed in at 102.8 lbs yesterday morning, and .8 from bodyweight is... well... close enough for me? I'm gonna count it because it'll be another 16 weeks before I max out again. One of my big milestones was having a bodyweight bench press, so, I'm delighted. Pleased as punch. My heart was pounding and my hands were shaky when I was done, like I was really counting on that rep, so I'm glad. glad glad glad OHP 5x3 50 lbs Incline DB Flies 3x16 24 lbs (12 each hand) EZ-Bar Skullcrusher 3x16 24 lbs Incline DB Press 3x10 30 lbs Food: Yas. Unnecessaries at 40.30/50 and I have $17 in my food budget. (Moved some sodas over. I also counted a pre-ordered book that charged yesterday as "necessary" because I ordered it a million years ago and forgot all about that shizz.) Meal planning I need to put a little juice into today, I've been flopping a bit here (though passing the challenge, not quite getting the results I want). Money: log log log log I STILL have not bought my Vegas flight it is so expensive I hate spending that much Writing: I brainstormed, but I'm not feeling good about my progress this week. <--again true Week 1: A 6/7 B 5/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 1/1 Week 2: A 5/7 B 6/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 0/1 Week 3: A 6/7 B 7/7! ixaera
Day 27 budget got me like Exercise: Squats day~ Warm up 1x10 45 lbs 1x5 70 lbs 1x3 80 lbs 1x1 90 lbs 3x5 100 lbs Challenging, room for more pounds still. I'm surprised it didn't feel heavier, but glad. Suitcase Carry 2xgym length 25 lbs Gonna repeat next time probs, a little shaky at the end Bulgarian Split Squats 3x12 30 lbs (15 each hand) Ab Wheel Rollouts 2x12 (I can't go super far out yet, still working on my ability here) Seated Leg Curls 3x15 40 lbs, slow eccentric Food: Nope, variance. Drank a bit and ate a slice of pizza :S (Delicious, delicious pizza) Unnecessaries at 47.05/50 and I have $0 in my food budget. (Went out to lunch and had FISH TACOOOOOOS) ' Gonna spend some time on meal planning today, with the idea that it'll get used the week after next, because trying to meal plan all of Thanksgiving weekend will be impossible. I'll have to mostly wing it, but the plan is to stick to the reverse diet macros (I'm not a giant fan of roasted turkey and Thanksgiving foods in general, so it's not SUPER hard, except for the cookies) Money: log log log log Finally booked Vegas flight, it's done. Next challenge will ALSO contain a budget, because I still need to save more money before both trips, but gonna ease up for zero week in the meantime and give myself an allowance that week that'll be much easier to stay within before tightening my money belt again. Writing: I wrote a bit. Week 1: A 6/7 B 5/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 1/1 Week 2: A 5/7 B 6/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 0/1 Week 3: A 6/7 B 7/7! C 1/1 D 7/7 E 5/7 F 1/1 Week 4: A 6/7 B 6/7 C 0/1 D 6/7 E 4/7 F 0/1 Yogas: 1/4 Today I'm resting my lumbar for one more day, even though it's been feeling better. One more day for insurance. 2 Quote Link to comment
Cataleya
Yay! Congrats on body weight! You are life goals.I STILL have not bought my Vegas flight it is so expensive I hate spending that muchThink of it this way: you were spending that much before, just on dumb stuff. Now you are spending it on cool stuff, which is a bonus. 2 Quote Cataleya Tries to Regain Her Balance Instagram | MyFitnessPal Link to comment
ixaera
Day 28 Exercise: Rested completely Food: No. I was at an event and got kinda stressed out over a situation and ended up drinking more than I should. Unnecessaries at 47.05/50 and I have $0 in my food budget. (Went out to lunch and had FISH TACOOOOOOS) ' *narrator voice* She did not spend any additional time on meal planning Money: log log log log Budget challenge was super effective, so I'll probably do it again. My reward ended up being the adipower weightlift shoes, because the power II shoes ended up being more expensive from the British site than the "fancier" shoes were on Amazon. So I spent less, was able to use reward points (I ended up still not being able to use that on Sims wth Amazon), and I'll get them Wednesday instead of who knows when. Writing: I wrote a bit, but not for the requisite 30 minutes. Week 1: A 6/7 B 5/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 1/1 Week 2: A 5/7 B 6/7 C 1/1 D 7/7 E 7/7 F 0/1 Week 3: A 6/7 B 7/7! C 1/1 D 7/7 E 5/7 F 1/1 Week 4: A 6/7 B 6/7 C 0/1 D 7/7 E 5/7 F 0/1 Yogas: 1/4 Challenge summary: As usual, exercise dedication was close to the easiest to do. Food was tougher, but I think the "don't go over" rule helped me stick to the tail end of the cut a lot. (If I give myself a range instead, I'm literally always at the upper end, so "don't go over" ends up working better for me.) I didn't get as much done re: meal planning as I'd like, but I found a system that's helpful. Food budgeting was a dream and helped my tendency to overbuy at the store a great deal. The budget itself was a huge success. Writing, though... ugh. Onward, upward, etc. I give myself a B+ 2 Quote Link to comment
