good workout but definitely felt some aggravation in my knee and hip on the same side. probably should lay off the leg stuff for a few days…

 

okay day. a lot of frustration dealing with my dad. pfffffffffft. the weird broccoli soup i made actually came out really good. i made pureed broccoli soup in the pressure cooker with broth, onions, garlic. then added the leftover cashew dressing i had in the fridge. it was a thai-ish cream of broccoli deal. i sauteed some ground turkey and added that in too for dat protein.

 

bar hanging happened. yoga almost didn't but i got it in right before climbing into bed. that's a weird phrase i'm realizing. my bed is not high enough to "climb" into it.

yeah the second family in our life with children just rsvpd for the whole family for the engagement party

Week 4 – Friday

 

instead of lifting I ran on the treadmill for 30 mins. for some reason that doesn’t seem to hurt my knee/hip.

 

We went grocery shopping after work instead of waiting until Saturday morning to do it. we definitely wouldn’t have had enough time but that meant no HIIT circuit happened.

Week 4 – Saturday

 

got in a miniscule 7 mins of yoga before getting to my hair appt.

 

did a quick shop at Costco and then headed out to friendsgiving! lots of delicious appetizer were had with lots of great peeps. I did have 2 drinks, some mulled cider and some apple whiskey with ginger beer. coupled with the one other drink I had this week (bloody mary last Sunday) I’d say that’s not too shabby.

 

went to meet up for the movies with my dad and he surprised us by having bought justice league tix instead of thor! haha! still something we wanted to see and a fun time was had. I can be an amazon?

 

appetizers and movie snacks were not fiber rich.

I think I did some solid B work this challenge. still struggling to get 6 minutes of pull up bar play in per week and enough fiber on the weekends. Mg instantly got better once I added a reminder in my phone. I like the only drink once per week goal. it made me stop and think okay, what drinks are worth it to me? will be carrying some of these over!
