SymphonicDan
So something I was wondering recently - if there were a competition to find the healthiest person in the world, what should the judging criteria be? If you were trying to find the cleverest person, you would devise some sort of exam, possibly including logic and creativity etc., or see how fast they could learn something new.... but to find the healthiest person it seems less clear how you might measure that. Raincloak
Seems like an absurd question, since there are so many different systems in a human. I suppose resilience might be the biggest single criterion. How fast does the person bounce back from injury or illness? But even there, it depends. Babies win for bouncing back from injuries, because their tissues grow so fast, but they catch diseases more easily and are less resistant to toxins. 2 Quote Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Elastigirl
I think they would have to be resilient, not get sick often, and able to recover quickly. strength and flexibility are going to factor in too . Not sure what the criteria would be for that. Not just the strongest person, just a certain level. farflight
Fun thought experiment. When I think "healthiest" I lean more towards medical test results, body fat percentages, strength-to-weight ratio, cardiovascular performance, mental functioning, problem solving abilities, attitude, planning abilities, social capacities...okay...now my head hurts...
