Grandkai's doing Assassin Stuff (part 2/2)

Previous challenge had its good and bad things so i'm stopping with the bad and continue with the good from my last challenge. I'm gonna try and finished this last challenge of the year strong.

 

Quest 1: Increase Agility

"Assassins spend most of their time training with functional body weight exercises as that’s usually the only thing they need to lift."

- Startbodyweight Routine 3 times a week;

- Handstand Training every day for 5-10 minutes (alternate between handstand & headstand)

 

Quest 2: Increase Stamina

"They have solid endurance as well, allowing them to progress through an obstacle-filled environment without breaking a sweat."

- Run outside 5-10 km 3x a week

 

Quest 3: Improve Body

"Fearless, calculated, and efficient, Assassins have low body fat percentages because extra weight could mean the difference between life and death on a mission."

- No ordering food

- Multivitamin, Omega 3 & Apple in the morning

- Protein Shake & Apple after workouts

- 2 Liters of water everyday

 

Quest 4: Relaxation

- 100% Rayman Origins on Xbox

- Read 30 minutes after waking up and 30 minutes before going to bed

 

So these are my quest's for this last challenge of 2017. A bit of my previous challenge with some new things. I'm gonna do my best to post every day on this challenge forum, even if its just an emoticon.

Yes. I used to wake-up and read everyday, but the last few weeks i woke up early but never read then. So this is a quest to get back into that routine.

Week 0, Day 1 & Day 2

Its was raining a tiny bit (just enough to make my wet slightly wet) and decided to go for a run ( :D yeah, don't give a s#$t about the rain) but when i was putting on my running clothes i got a weather warning on my phone. Extreme rain & wind and i looked outside and it was like a hurricane, super crazy since i was outside like 15 minutes earlier.

I didn't run because it was pouring like crazy. If it stayed a light drizzle i would have gone outside for a run.

Week 0, day 3 till 6

Had a 5K run Thursday before my wisdom tooth was removed. I was feeling bit tired and exhausted the few days after that, the constant pressure feeling in my head because the tooth is gone was a bit annoying but today i felt a bit better. Can't open my mouth all the way yet but eating is going a lot better. A few more days and i'll be okay, till then ill take it easy with bread & yoghurt.

p.s: decided to stop with the protein shake & apple after workout since most (like 90%) of my workouts happen before my breakfast. So i'm already eating something after my workouts.

Nothing wrong with them, i mean ill eat mostly bread & yoghurt since its soft. 

The pain is almost gone so it won't be long before i can eat normally.

Ah, I read it as "being cautious with bread and yoghurt". English ist hard...

Week 1, Day 1

I have a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit of pain left from when my wisdom tooth was removed. So this helped me a lot to get back into rhythm.

Week 1, Day 2

Today was an awesome day. Did a headstand with my legs straight for the first time & ran a 10K under an hour. Also finished a book and started reading the next one. All those combined made this an awesome day. I took a video of my headstand, still things to improve but this felt like a great start.

Week 1, Day 3 till Day 7

Last Thursday a new boiler was installed in my apartment and it took longer than expected. With sucked since they came after i just came home from my night shift. I did some quick math and figured that by the time the installation guy went home i only slept 1,5 hours in that last 24 hours. So i was tired and slept a few hours before i had to go for my last night shift.

Saturday was a complete lazy-ass day, wanted to wake up on time but was still in nightshift mode. Spent the rest of the day watching Arrow and went very quick to supermarket for food.

Week 1 Review

Week 1 went pretty good. Did most of my workouts/runs, did a lot of hand/headstands. But didn't run as much as i want but ill still be ready in time for my 10K run at the end of 2017. Nutrition wise everything is going great. I need to focus more on Rayman Origins since progress in that game is going slow and i want to finally 100% that game. Reading is going oke except for the weekends, most of the time i'm gaming with friends and i forget the time.

But that will go back to normal when the work week starts again. 

 

For now ill vanish and get back to my training, i will return :)

Well its afternoon shift again and yet again i have the damn tendence to not get up out of bed. No BW workout & no running, but i atleast did some hand/head stand. Not a lot but better than nothing.
