It is a nice place, especially when it is quiet. Normally I just do the basics and run. I drove past the Museums on Thursday and decided it is time for me to take off a day or two and visit all the places I like.

I am sorry about that, but I have done very little in the past year, and my camera was stolen. I am learning to use a new old one my sister do not use anymore. 

 

Sondag, 31 Desember.

 

I loaded up my Kayak this morning and took it to the pond for a rowing session. It was the first time in years we had it on the water. My brother and the dogs joined me. The dogs were not at all interested in the fact that I was on the water, they just did their own thing. I did fell when I got out of the kayak, so I was very wet. We made a little video, I will upload it as soon as I stop wasting time online.

 

The temple is having a fireworks display at midnight. We will be going.  The dogs are hiding from the noise.

 

We had a real braai tonight. My mother suggested it. Wonders will never cease.

 

And I completed my book list tonight. I read 184 books during the year. Not all of it were works of literature, there were a lot of Agatha Christie and Leslie Charteris among it,  it is nice to have some easy to read books handy just before bedtime. I have decided I read enough, but I do not know why I must always hide from people if I want to do something I enjoy.

I was up from 12 till 2 with the dogs. They were terrified as our whole town seemed to have fireworks displays going on.

The town were rotten with fireworks. There were three major displays and from where we stood we could see the entire township exploding. Fortunately tonight were better.
