'tis the season for parties! i'd like to enjoy myself as much as possible. and also keep up with my routine Exercise. 5 workouts per week I’d like to aim for 3 lifting sessions and 2 cardio sessions. 4 lifting sessions would be better. duh pull up bar play 6 min/week yoga on the weekends (60 mins/week total) gotta keep up that mobility on the weekends where it's currently slacking Food. consume 25g fiber on weekend days i do well during the week but need to focus on more fiber on the weekends plan out what days you’d like to indulge in alcohol just trying to be mindful about this during party times eat out or take out less than 6x over challenge with all the holiday parties I shouldn’t need to order take out or go out to eat much at all! parties/gatherings/events 11/19: brunch, hurling matches (dranked) 11/23: thanksgiving (plan to drink) 11/24: black Friday shopping; movies with dad (not drinking) 11/26: make engagement party centerpieces (not drinking) 12/1: SO’s work holiday party 12/2: powerlifting meet (just watching/cheering!); Christmas market 12/9: engagement party (plan to drink) 12/14: star wars? I'll do some high intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits every once in awhile if it's too cold out to run and/or i don't feel like going to the gym for the treadmill haha! i actually did a short hiit circuit last night which i'll talk about below! Week 0 – Sunday I didn’t log all my food as it was a wonderful whirlwind day of brunching, watching moana, freezing in fenway park, eating food truck food at a brewery, and finishing moana. I did get in 13 minutes of yoga before starting all of that though so that’s a checkbox! not counting that food truck food towards my 6 meals out limit (btw, thanks @raptron for letting me steal that goal from you ). Week 0 – Monday slept in after that whirlwind sunday so no morning workout. the baked oatmeal came out so good this week. pumpkin and dried crans. I did eat some unnecessaries like coffee cake, puppy chow, and mixed nuts. I also didn’t need to add tortilla chips to my chicken chili but it was delicious soooo… I spent a minute hanging and then did this quick circuit: 20s on / 10s rest Jump rope Jumping jacks Push ups Jump rope High knees Burpees x3 ended with some yoga workouts: 1/5 bar hangs: 1/6 eat out: 0/6 sunday yoga: 1/5; 20/60 Monday PM HIIT, bar hangs, yoga, make chicken chili Tuesday AM weights Tuesday PM yoga, bar hangs, laundry, make sausage & broccoli Wednesday AM cardio, bar hangs Wednesday PM yoga, bar hangs, fold laundry Thursday AM weights, yoga, bar hangs, make butternut squash Thursday PM eat turkey Friday AM Black Friday shopping, cardio? Week 0 – Tuesday went to the gym and tried out a set of front squats, 70x8 unfortunately it hurt my knee a bit too much for comfort and I forced myself to not do more squats. It was hard. and tragic. trard. incline bench 45x8 50x8 55x8x3 three sets of 5 burpees in between one arm DB rows 15x10x10 after the first 4 sets I said why the hell am I not trying the warrior mini? so I did 10 sets. I THINK the first four sets took 3 minutes and the last 6 sets took 8mins, 6s. so I didn’t make it under 10 minutes. womp. food was not great. I supplemented with 2 christmas cookies, 4 fun size milky ways, and chips with salsa. got in my head about it when I stepped on the scale this morning. might need to avoid that thing for a while for my mental health. doesn't help that sharks are still all out of whack. I did do 20 minutes of yoga last night and a minute hanging.
