Don't hate on the jumping knee tucks too much, they can really useful depending on your workout focus.  They are a great exercise for working on parkour vaults and precisions, and flips are impossible without first mastering these.  Even from an OCR perspective, these will help immensely for the over part of the OUTs and for quickly getting over low walls (and are even useful as a progression for throwing your legs up on the higher walls).

I don't consider them, or many exercises for hat matter, to be worthless. I just don't like the way the promote a really hard landing with the jump. I'd prefer, for example, a box jump. Not that they aren't without their risks, of course. Now my perspective may well be due to the fact that my bodyweight is not insubstantial so I'm a little cautious about getting too much impact from plyometric exercises.

To be fair, the knee jumps aren't encouraging you to do a hard land, just to jump a few feet in the air than come back down to the ground. It doesn't really cause stress on the knees. I feel that such a drop would only be problematic if you are jumping down from a height a few feet higher than waist level and landing on hard ground.

Jumping knee tucks done with EC. I actually really dislike tuck jumps on general principle. They just feel like an unnecessary escalation of force placed on your joints because they promote a hard landing.

I see the point  WhiteGhost is making, but I'm more in Jon's camp on this one. It might be because I don't do the knee tucks frequently, but I did feel like they were subjecting my knees to  more impact than I usually tolerate. As an aging distance runner, I try to baby my joints. Don't know if that's good or bad.

Karate chops with EC

Flutter kicks with EC...but they made me a little nervous. I'm not really strong enough for them so I could feel the strain on my lower back. Reminds me that I should do something similar (but slightly easier probably) more regularly.

Great job @Diadhuit

Yeah as an obese guy who runs far too much I kind of get wary about beating my knees and I find tuck jumps by their very mechanics get you to slam your legs down rather than land more gracefully.

I did 4 sets of 12 knee to elbow push-ups. That means I get 4x the points, right? ;)

I apologize if I came across as suggesting that everyone should do this, because I wasn't. I actually agree that high impact exercises like this are probably not ideal for fitness beginners or most people in general (not that either of you are fitness beginners).   I think that this exercise, like any exercise, will be right for some people and wrong for others, depending on your fitness level, body type/structure and fitness goals.  I think for most people, jump tucks are probably going to be really hard on the knees because jumping really hard requires special skill and strength to do it safely.  However, for a certain subset of people, they are a really great exercise.   I was just trying to explain that for many bodyweight enthusiasts this is actually a very useful and common exercise.

Also, knee to elbow pushups done for EC  (but not for Super EC like Jon :) )

I forgot to do the pushup knee tucks. It's sort of a good thing because I tried them today (late)...I sort of muddled through but wasn't really getting full range of motion, so probably wouldn't have counted them, but would have felt conflicted about it.

Sitting knee raises with EC. They definitely weren't my hardest, but they were hard in a different way then I predicted. I thought I would feel it in my abs. I did, but it was much more intense in the hip flexor.

My laptop is currently being nursed (hopefully) back to health after my cat spilled a glass of water over it, and accessing the spreadsheet on my phone or ipad is proving problematic. Can someone add today's dare with EC for me please?

I thought it was dead, but my friend's dad fixes computers and I took it to him. He's hopeful that it can be repaired, as the motherboard seems okay.

Thanks for updating the spreadsheet for me :)

Yeah, you'd be surprised how much water a computer can take and come back from. There are parts that are much more sensitive than others though so it's a bit of pot luck.

Did the Infinity circles for EC but kind of regret it.  I got about 10 into it and realized I could have used this to replace the windshield wipers I was going to be doing tomorrow morning anyway.  I felt this one mostly in the upper quads too, but for the last 5 or so I was also feeling it pretty hard in the hip flexors

Infinity circles were mostly a challenge for my crappy coordination. I spent all of the effort concentrating on the movement that I didn't really feel them much. A bit of burn in my quads.
