Mike Wazowski
1 hour ago, Mad Hatter said: NICE! What sort of things did you learn? For me, mostly that I can pull my head even farther back to have a truly upright spine (as an added bonus, it sorts out some anterior pelvic tilt and makes me appear an inch or two taller to boot). Also that I need to focus less on what my partner's doing at any given time and just dance my stuff while clearly communicating my timing via connection. For my partner, it was mostly that she needs to focus more on timing her dancing with what she feels me doing, rather than just listening directly to music and dancing on her own. For both of us, it's that we need to revamp our approach to practice a bit: Work wayyyyyyy less on choreography / don't think about it while we dance - we've had routines all for over a year at this point so everything should be on auto-pilot Quit using full speed music to try and work technique / movement quality topics - use slow or no musc for that work Spend a lot more time dancing without music, focused on the communication and connection in the partnership Focus our full speed reps on how we'll perform / express ourselves in front of an audience, not on any other topics 3 Quote Ballroom dancer, data nerd, calisthenics dabbler Link to comment

Mike Wazowski
Update on goals from yesterday. Hit target calories and protein, every day: Nope, succumbed to the allure of peppermint Joe Joe's (almost an entire row of them). Ironically, weighed in 2 lbs lighter this morning. Cutting is weird, y'all. Sleep 8+ hours a night, 6+ days a week: 6 yesterday. I intended to only finish the last 2 chapters of HP1, now I'm 100 pages deep into HP2. Get pre-gym morning routine down to about 15 minutes: ~20 minutes this morning, maybe even 15! Pre PB-ing my pancakes helped for sure, ate them in the car and it was magic. Do your scheduled workouts, adjusting as needed: Yup, did my day A of rings - highlight was feeling stable in an L-sit, even if my legs were a wee bit low. Start tracking how focused and productive you feel at work: Tracked! 3 / 5 on both, not terrible if not amazing. Mac experiments: First taste test was delicious, will get around to uploading a pic from tapatalk soon-ish. 3 Quote Ballroom dancer, data nerd, calisthenics dabbler Link to comment

Welp, you boil up some ramen noodles and mix up some pancake batter of your choice, but less sweet than normal. Combine. Add in some scallions and seasoning if you like, or keep the sweeter batter and add fruit and cinnamon. Fry as per pancakes.
