After one or two incidents of deleting my work, started saving like every five seconds. This served me well until I worked at a place where the Excel macro shortcut to clear out the sheet and irreversibly destroy all the data was... wait for it... Ctrl + S.

We had a talk.

Wow why would that ever be a thing? I've grown soft in the current day and age, with auto-saves, automatic cloud backups, versioning, and other safety things that a tablet doesn't quite have the horsepower for (though I don't think a background cloud backup would be so difficult...). I've learned my lesson though and have been forking and backing up regularly now.

This is my life every October. Working excel sheets in excess of a million rows, computers crashing and eating hours of your life because you had the audacity to copy/paste a formula down an entire row in one go.

don't sweat the lack of focus on calorie counting accuracy right now! and counting just isn't going to work for some people anyway! keep up the good work and continue to make changes to find what fits
