Ye Workshoppe Ranger Guilde Halle: General Chatter

Welcome to the Ranger Guild Hall. As always, there is a roaring fire, comfortable seats, and an incredibly well stocked bar with spirits, ales, porters, lagers, teas, coffees, juices, and all the unique stuff no one has heard of yet but that you are into even before the hipsters make it a thing. Normally you can sit wherever you like, and while the bar and all the side tables are still open (including the dark corners where you can sit and be as mysterious as you like)

The center of the hall has some tables pushed together so that we can repair the hype. Two challenges ago we thought it had forsaken us, then last challenge we realized it had been stolen and broken. Now we've brought it back and are repairing it. That's a problem for the mini-challenge, however. For now, pull up a chair (to something that isn't being used as a workspace) and place your order.

First rounds on me.

Gotta love the Guildhall's non-euclidean geometry, which allows for multiple dark corners in which to mysteriously loom.

Maaaan why you gotta be so

RATIONAL

*shade-sits in 7 dark corners at once thanks to geometry!!*

but can you bend time and space so that you loom in multiple dark corners at once?

ETA: @shaar beat me to this joke. Dammit.

Dude between the both of us tho', there won't be an empty dark corner left to loom in!

(One of the benefits of posting early and often, mwehehe~)

I will take ALL the coffee, please.  With some sort of non-dairy milk and...mango syrup.

I'm not dead yet, but pretty darn close.  I am going to take a break from having my own challenge thread this time, because actually moving and then getting settled in is going to be plenty to handle on its own.  Still going to participate in the mini, though!

It's all about lighting when it comes to spaces that have more than four corners. ;)

I know I haven't been active a lot the previous - I'm still getting used to having a place to post other than my battle log, and you know generally being the quiet lurking person that I am. I might make a challenge thread this time, might not, but whatever I do I know I'll keep working on the same things.  Poke me if you don't see me will ya, I need to get out my shell a little. Till then I'll be here, sipping my tea and getting back in the groove of being an adult. :D

A dark figure, covered in snow glides silently into the hall, noting the improbable number of dark, shadowy corners, she mutters, "Damn.  I didn't know Lazarus Long designed buildings this far out ...."  Raising her voice and her head, she catches the eye of the bartender.  "Wine, please.  Hot, dark, and spiced."

Cheetah saunters in wearing his usual easy smile, and hops up onto his favorite bar stool, chosen because it's the spinniest.  He leans on the bar, one elbow on the rail, and says, "You know me, barkeep.  Cuppa tea, and make it the hard stuff - leave the bag in."

there's so many people in dark non-euclidean corners that its seriously spazzing out the geek.  who for once in his life arrived in the centre of all things...

anyways; I'm sick with a cold (irl, actually) so I'm really only here for the famous herbal remedy they sell here...

Sorry about your cold!  I had mine a few weeks ago.

Jedi makes her way into the bar and slouches into a barstool.

"Coffee please barkeep, with lots of sweet and cream." And without another word, she cradles her head in her arms and falls back to sleep.

Put the guns away, bro.  I was being ironic.  Because, you know.  Cheetah.

Put the guns away...?! I... don't think this is the kind of place for that sort of talk, Cheetah.

Guns out, always.
