Snacks are the most important meal of the day. I'd never hit my daily cal minimum without it.

cottage cheese

cucumber+hummus+bell pepper+chicken sammies

apples+almond/peanut butter

avocado

 

I also like zucchini with guac, but some people look at me funny when I eat raw zuc..

 

I may borrow your pull-up goal. I have a bar at home that's been gathering dust at the foot of my bed for many months now.

those sammies sound divine! maybe i could do little pita rollups! and raw zuc is totally normal! i always forget about it and would be great with guac for DOUBLE FIBER WHAMMYYYYY

This is an abomination to sane peanut butter eating! LOL But I'll allow it, because it seems to be purely original, as I've never heard of anyone else doing that before. ;)

Week 0 – Wednesday

 

back to some running since I mysteriously bruised my ankle 3 weeks ago.

treadmill – 28 mins; 2.32 miles; 97 ft climbed. did this on it but with a 2% incline not 4%... they crazy??

ummmm I finished all my snacks before lunch. I think I’m missing my coconut flour breakfast bread thingy. I had chia pudding which is delicious but maybe doesn’t fill me up as well. I ate some pita bread and cape cod chips in the afternoon.

 

did my bar hangs before heading off to supper club. it’s this monthly get together some friends do which we usually don’t go to (bc weekdays are harrrrd lol) but decided to do it up. it was pot roast with some raw veg appetizers and baked apples with halo top for dessert! noms.

funny story. I got my buddy working out with me, and had him do bar hangs instead of pullups. He got a cramp in his calf for his trouble's. So think about that next time you have bar hang problems.

He's heavy, and not in the greatest condition, so he was using the pullup assist machine. My only thought is that caused it. Otherwise... Cause bodies are weird?

I mean. Hanging and pulling up use lots more muscles than we tend to think. It's not inconceivable. He could have been attempting some manner of full-body tension without realizing or controlling it. Maybe.

you'll never guess what happened while i was doing my bar hanging last night... FOOT CRAMP. karma's a b.

 

Week 0 – Thursday

 

slept in bc late night (for us). food was weird bc we forgot to make chia puddings so breakfast was a bagel sandwich & banana, lunch was leftover broccoli soup & potato, snacks were strawberries, an apple, and one of these:

it was okay, lots of fiber and protein. the peas are in dried flake form like boxed mashed potatoes. i did grab some chocolates at the end of the day but there was room for them!

 

I made honey garlic chicken and broccoli in the pressure cooker. came out soupy but delicious.
